The Sunset Between The Sea And Clouds

Sunset

Nunew is standing on the beach where his feet could feel the water as the waves touch the sand. It was past 5 in the afternoon and the sun was starting to set.

SUNSET.

For Nu it is the most beautiful part of the day. It is where the Sea meets the clouds and in between shines the last ray of sunlight. It is a beauty that will never fade and so is that wonderful memory that reminds him.

He closed his eyes as his skin felt the cold wind but the coldness never lasted longer than he thought.

A familiar warmth swarms through him as strong arms envelope his body and pulls him into a hug.

"There you are my love, I have been looking everywhere for you." His hot breath sent shivers down his spine as he heard him whisper into his ears.

Zee leans his head on Nu's shoulder while Nu rests his head on his chest.

"I thought you were already asleep." Nu whispers.

"How can I sleep without you by my side?" Zee then pressed a kiss on Nu's neck.

"Hia." Nu giggles.

They both look at the sunset, both thinking of what tomorrow could bring for them. The calmness of the place, their synchronized breathing, the soft sound of the waves. Zee would never have thought of this before. For him to fall in love with this person.

He kissed Nu's head which gained a smile from him.

He lets go of Nu and goes in front of him. He looks at him full of love and adoration. He is one lucky man indeed.

"Hia loves Nu." He whispers to him. "I could have never imagined standing here without you by my side, Nu..." He takes Nu's hand and kisses the back of it then continues, "I may not be the most perfect person that you will ever meet but I promise you only one thing, I am yours and only yours and whatever could life bring or should I say whatever challenges we are going to face. I will always be there."

Nu was speechless. He has been waiting for this his whole life for him to be with the man who loves him and cares for him like no one else does.

Zee leans in closely to him and kisses him deeply.

"Nu?" He hears another familiar voice calling him.

He opened his eyes only to find himself with tears falling down his cheeks. He looked at his brother who is now full of worry.

"Are you okay?" James asks.

"That memory will never leave me. I still love him, Phi after all these years. I would be a fool to deny that I don't love him." Nu explains as he starts to cry.

James grabs his brother and gives him a hug. He knew although Nu never shared much, he knew that he still loved him.

"Do you believe in fate?" James asks him again.

He looks at his brother. Nu only nodded his head.

"Then you have to trust that fate will bring you two together. Destiny has its own ways and if it is meant to be then it will be."
