Our wedding takes place here at Christ the King Parish after a month of preparation. Royse covered all the expenses, even though we told him that we could split them.
We only have less than a hundred visitors, but I know he spent a lot.
My wedding gown was designed by Yanna. It's a pure silk, simple lace ball gown wedding dress with an intricate design.
The silk is from Paris and arrived days after they went to our house. Napakabilis nga, but I remember Yanna won't be a Salguero without nothing. Siya rin ang nag-design ng suit ni Royse.

Many say that our wedding can be considered the wedding of the year. Sa pakiusap ni lolo Fred kay Royse ay pumayag ito na maicover sa ilang exclusive magazines, locally and internationally, ang prenuptial photos namin. Sa akin naman kasi ay wala iyong problema, pero hiningi pa rin naman ni lolo Fred ang permiso ko.
In our month of preparation, I've only seen Royse three times. Noong nag prenuptial photoshoot kami, nagsukat ng gown at suit, at noong bisitahin namin ang bahay na titirahan namin.
Ang sabi ni lolo Fred talagang busy na tao si Royse dahil malaki ang responsibilidad niya sa estate, lalo na dahil ililipat na niya ang buong estate kay Royse pagkatapos ng kasal namin. Naiintindihan ko naman siya at wala naman akong ibang inaasahan tulad ng sinabi niya noong magpunta sila sa bahay. I somehow expected that he'd be this aloof.
Nagsalita muli ang pari at ilang sandali pa ay sinabi niyang puwede na naming ikabit ang singsing sa isa't isa.
Ever since the wedding started, I've been distracted by his stares. I requested to have light makeup since I'm not comfortable with heavy ones. Hindi naman kasi talaga ako madalas mag-ayos dahil kadalasan ay nasa office lang naman ako, o hindi naman kaya ay nasa bahay at ginagawa ang mga plate designs ko.
Nako-conscious tuloy ako sa itsura ko.
Royse gets our wedding ring and holds my hand. This is the second time that he has held me, but the pressure of electricity I felt before is just the same.
"In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, take and wear this ring as a sign of my love and faithfulness." Binigkas niya habang ikinakabit ang wedding ring sa daliri ko. It's a gold wedding ring with small diamonds surrounding the middle part.
Pagkatapos niyang maikabit ang singsing ay kinuha ko naman ang para sa kaniya. It's also a gold ring with an elegant line design.

Arranged marriage man ang kasal namin at sinabi niya na wala dapat kaming asahan sa isa't isa, mahalaga sa akin ang kasal na ito dahil alam ko na magbabago na ang buhay ko sa oras na magsama kami.
"In the sight of God, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Man, you may now kiss your wife." My heart pounded when the priest declared that.
I avoided my gaze as his eyes became colder. Ilang segundo rin na nagtagal ang tingin niya bago dahan-dahang alisin ang belo ko.
