I haven't been able to sleep because of what Royse said last night.

I thought all night, and I decided that I wouldn't let his words stop me from fulfilling my responsibilities as his wife.

Tumayo ako at binuksan ang fridge. I decided to cook beef broccoli, tocino, sunny side up egg, and bacon.

I also made fried rice and toast. While waiting for the beef broccoli to be cooked, I went to the living room and opened the curtains. The sun is risen.

"You're up early," halos mapatalon ako sa gulat nang marinig ko si Royse na nagsalita mula sa likuran ko.

I turned my back and saw him standing at the foot of the stairs. I didn't pay attention to my racing heart.

"Good morning. I cooked breakfast," I said while walking towards him.

"Hear me out, Montgomery. I want to elucidate that I don't care if you don't want me cooking for you o kung ayaw mo man ng luto ko, but I'll still do it. It's my duty as your wife. Yes, I have many plans for my life, but our marriage won't ever restrain me because the day I decided to marry you is the day I promise to myself to be devoted to this marriage. We didn't marry out of love, I am very aware of that, but our marriage is more important to me now than my plans," mahabang litanya ko.

I am so emotional when it comes to these things and I hate that to myself.

"You said I'm free to do what I want, right? Then don't stop me because this is what I want, Royse. To be your wife."

I feel frustrated.

Maybe my ego was hurt when he told me that I didn't have to do my duty to him as his wife, or maybe deeper.

I closed the stove when I reached the kitchen.

I'll bring some of this to the mansion later. Huwag mo sana akong pigilan." Tuluyan akong pumiyok.

Huwag ngayon, Royse.

"Look at me," his voice is deadly cold and serious.

"Gusto-"

"Coffee," I was about to speak when his words cut me.

"H-ha?" Parang nawala sa isip ko lahat.

"I want your coffee," umatras ang mga luha ko nang bigla siyang ngumiti.
