Christmas and New year was a blast. It was nice being back with her family and celebrating like every year.

One day Kennedy sat on the couch playing a game with her brother when Ezbern called.

"Hey Ez." She immediately picked up dropping the controller making her lose the game.

"Kenn!" Kenneth whined seeing that she wasn't paying attention.

"Hey Kennedy!" He replied with the same cheerful voice like always.

"What are you doing-" Kenneth leaned over and Kennedy smacked her hand on his face pushing him back so she could talk properly. "What's up? How's your holidays been."

"Really fun, mum and dad won't leave me alone." He chuckled. "What about you?"

"Yeah it's been great--Shush!" Kennedy pushed Kenneth away and started to argue with him.

Ezbern chuckled hearing the two bicker like babies.

"Sorry about that-" Kennedy sighed putting the phone back to her ear.

"It's cool, but I actually have something to ask you." Ezbern gulped and Kennedy heard it and knew he was nervous.

"About what?" Kennedy became a little worried.

"Would you maybe want to... come over?" He asked.

"Like, to London?" Kennedy slightly furrowed her eyebrows at the question.

"I-I know you want to spend time with your family I understand but I just wanted you meet my parents and see the place where I grew up." Ezbern sighed.

"I'll think about it." Kennedy said after a long pause.

"Great I'll talk to you later, bye." Ezbern hang up.

Kennedy wanted to see her best friend again but it's been months since she saw her own family and wanted to spend the most time with them.

Then something hit her, what if she took her whole family?

She called Ezbern again after dinner. "Hey Ezbern, would it be ok if I brought my family over too?"

"That sounds wonderful!" Ezbern's face lit up.

They talked for a little longer before ending the call.

"Hey mum, dad. What do you think about going to London?" Kennedy leaned onto the kitchen counter watching her parents cleaning up.

"London? Where did this idea come from sweetie?" Olivia was surprised.

"Come on please! I want you to meet someone." Kennedy smiled.

Olivia and Thomas looked at each other deciding whether to go or not.

Thomas let out a deep breath. "Sure sweetie that sounds lovely." He smiled.

"Yay!" Kennedy ran up to her room to start packing.

A week later they were on the train to London.

Kenneth was playing on his Nintendo switch the entire time but they made it safely.

The minute they stepped onto the platform, they could feel the air feel different.

It felt a lot colder. Probably because it was winter. Yet the sun was able to shine through the dusty clouds. But it probably wouldn't last long because it was the early morning.

Kennedy checked her watch and read 7am.

They took a taxi and made it to Ezbern's doorstep.

She knocked and just a second later Ezbern's father Bryan opened the door.
