And I understand the relationship status of the time. One is with someone, the other is casually dating someone. I get it, I get it. But not only did he buy you a car, CUSTOMIZE the car, but he waited MONTHS after your birthday to WATCH you react to it.

I think people see writers on here writing things and think some stuff we do is so intentional that we're every character. I can't speak for others but I'm almost fully disconnected from character pov's. I understand them because I'm writing it but there are still plenty of times where I'm rereading stuff I wrote later on (years later in this case) and it's as if I've never read it so even though I know what will happen, how it is happening still drives me crazy. That's a reoccurring experience right now. You space out when you're writing sometimes. It's all creative flow. Now, I'm screaming at the top of my lungs because HE BOUGHT YOU A CAR!!! Maybe because she could buy her own or because he's rich, she feels like it isn't as big of a deal but with me knowing what comes a few months later... I can't believe she didn't even blink at it. I don't know.
Please understand that I'm not Nelly don't wanna be Nelly, and would never do half of the shit she does. Never. I know I once considered using Lyric as my writing pseudo but that's dead. She has a life of her own and delusions are attached.
