Hunter POV

"Shit-!" Hunter exclaims as he stumbles on the roller skates.

"Do you not have anything like this in your realm?" Elise laughs.

"Uh- kind of..! we call it Roller Snakes..? yours is much more different!" He pants for air.

"Roller Snakes? what is it just little snakes instead of wheels?" She laughs.

"I think so...? I've never gone...!" Hunter says.

"Uh- I kind of know someone who would though... so i wanted to check this place out.." Hunter pants.

"Oh like a friend of yours?" Elise asks.

"Kind of.." Hunter smiles a bit.

Hunter frantically grabs the railing and almost stumbles on his skates again. They're only on the carpet, they still need to go to the main rink, Hunters certain doom. Hunter sighs, shakily grabbing the rails.

"I'm not too too good myself, but I can help if you need." Elise smiles and holds out her hand.

Hunter looks up at her face and then down at her hand. He sweats a little and furrows his eyebrows, he's not weak, he doesn't need her help.

"N-no, I got this." Hunter sweats, refusing her hand.

Hunter takes one step onto the rink, Elise shrugs and watches him attempt to go onto the smooth stone floor. Hunter holds onto the railing as he steps foot on the stone, he can feel his feet sliding away.

"Ggh..! stupid... wheels..." Hunter grumbles, trying to pull himself upward.

"lets try and go a lap around, you can hold the railing your first lap, next lap try without okay?" She grins.

Hunter sweats and nods.

"Picture it like your walking like a toddler, very slowly and carefully." She says.

"Y-yeah I know what you mean." Hunter pants.

"How often do humans like you usually come here..?" Hunter asks.

"Uh... it depends actually, on the kind of person. Like for some people, skating is a hobby, so quite frequently." Elise smiles.

"Like look at that guy for example." Elise points at a guy.

Hunter glances over. Its a guy in his 20s he thinks.

"That guy, with the red skates, see how fast he's skating? he's basically doing that for fun, its like childsplay for him because of the amount of times he put in the effort and practice." Elise says.

"He can like do these cool little turns and spins and stuff..." Hunter mumbles looking closely at him.

"Yeah, because its a hobby for him, its something he enjoys doing, so he'd probably be the type to come here quite often." Elise says.

"But take those guys for example." Elise points at this group of kids.

Hunter glances at them.

"See, they're probably trying this out, they're still new, obviously not that advanced at skating but, its fun trying new things right?" Elise says.

"How do I get like him?" Hunter asks pointing at the guy with red skates.

"the more you come the more skilled you'll get, it takes a lot of practice." Elise says.

"he must have been training for years." Hunter says.

"Yeah probably." Elise smiles.

Hunter grumbles. They finish their first lap and he stops to take a deep breath.
