"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the cabin. No, they won't be there this time-"
Jen heard Chris's voice through the hallway wall.
"Look, Stephanie, this is the last time I'll tell you. I don't want to go..." the words faded as Jennifer's mind switched from what that conversation could mean and what she had to pick up at the grocery store as she walked down the hall, towards the elevator.

As she walked down the hallway, Jennifer began to replay what she heard of Chris's call.
It sounded like he had a girlfriend, but more importantly what she had heard  confirmed her suspicions: he had a cabin in the woods.
Ever since Jen had seen Chris and he had screamed lumberjack to her she could only help but wonder if he owned some kind of cabin or wooded property. Now she knew.
At least, he rented one for vacations.

As Jennifer was making her way back down her hallway again, she heard Chris yelling. That wasn't good.
It sounded like Stephanie was in the apartment.
That was a long night.
