Chapter 12: The Kiss

I heard keys jiggling. I opened one eye and saw I was in Trevor's arms. I was so tired. I closed my eye.

"Shhh. She fell asleep on the way back." Trevor whispered. We walked up the stairs and into a room. I don't think it's the room I was staying in because it was really cold and the distance from the door to the bed are different.

My shoes were taken off and I was covered with sheets. I adjusted my body to where I was comfortable. I felt someone lay down next to me. I don't remember anything beyond that point.

I woke up in an unfamiliar place. I sat up and looked around. I was in Trevor's room. In Trevor's bed. Next to Trevor.

I climbed out of bed and grabbed my phone off the floor next to my sandals. I picked them up too. Then I walked back to, well I guess it's my room for now.

I changed into black Nike shorts and a white Nike tanktop. I put on my Nike running shoes and grabbed my pennyboard. I walked down the stairs and checked the time, 7:08 in the morning. I left a note next to a can of Arizona in the fridge because I knew Jc would grab a can when he wakes up. The note read:

Hey guys! I'm going out for a ride on my pennyboard. I'll be back soon. Don't wait for me if you need to do something today. I love you all!

I placed the note in place and walked out the door. I tied my hair in a high ponytail and pushed off on my board. I took the route that passes the park. It's really pretty to see nature in its natural position. I stopped at a Starbucks on my way back. I bought a Double Chocolatey Chip Frap with extra whip cream.

I rode my pennyboard up to the house and hopped off. I walked through the front door and still, no one was up. I checked the time, 9:34. Wow, I was out for over two hours. I walked to the kitchen and took the note I wrote earlier, and ripped it up. I threw it away and walked to my room to take a shower.

I took my shower and changed into sweats and an oversized Oursecondlife t-shirt that Connor gave me. It had all of the boys' signatures. I happen to love that shirt a lot! I put my hair in a tight donut bun on the top of my head. I walked downstairs and saw Ricky lounging on the couch.

"Hey, Rick!"

"Hello, Katie." He hugged me and I sat by him. We watched SpongeBob together until Trevor came down the stairs.

"Morning sunshine!" I said to him.

"Morning, princess." He walked over and plopped down next to me. Once again, we all watched SpongeBob. Jc cam walking down the stairs and grabbed an Arizona. He walked in the living room and layed down on the floor. Next Kian came down. He watched cartoons with us until last, but not least, Sam came down.

"Whoo! Go Samantha!" We cheered for him. We all made a deal that whoever was the last one down, we had to cheer for them. He glared at all of us and threw himself on the big chair.

"I challenge Katie to a Mario Kart race." Kian spoke up.

"Oh really? What's the prize if I win?" I folded my arms and smirked.

"The prize is winner throws loser in the pool."

"Deal." We shook hands and he started running to the game room.

"I CALL RED CONTROLLER!" I hadn't even moved from the couch. I walked back there and Kian was fake pouting on one of the couches.

"How did you know about the red controller?" Kian asked me.

"Well I'm not stupid and I have been in here a few times." He glared at me and set everything up. I was Peach and he was Luigi. Halfway though the race, Kian started nudging me.

"Kian stop! That's cheating!!" I yelled.

"No it's not. It's called winning!" He yelled. I crossed the finish line a millisecond before he did.

"No, Kian. It's called LOSING!" I yelled and threw my hands up in the air. Everyone laughed at me. I couldn't help but laugh at myself too.

"So, Kian. I will be nice and let you change your clothes if you want."

"No, no. A deal is a deal and it wouldn't be fair if I changed because I wasn't gonna let you change." I gaped my mouth open.

"Well then let's go." I jumped off the couch and headed to the pool. I wait impaciently for everyone to meet me. Kian stood in front of me.

"3,2,1" Jc yelled. I waited a second after Jc yelled 1 so Kian was least expecting it. Everyone laughed and Kian climbed out.

"Who wants to race me next?" I crossed my arms and smirked. Everyone just awkwardly looked around.

"That's what I thought." I laughed and ran inside. I jumped on the couch and turned Paranormal Activity 4 on. It's my favorite one.

"Come on! I hate this movie." Trevor said sitting next to me.

"But you love me so you'll watch it, right?"

"Of course." He pulled me into his grasp and we watched the movie together. I jumped a few times and butied my head in his chest. He didn't seem to mind. He screamed a few times which made me laugh. I couldn't help but smile at him every once in a while. He just makes me so happy. I can't even describe it.

"Soooo..." I said while Trevor was messing with my fingers.

"Yeah?"

"I really really really really really really like you." I sang, softly.

"I really like you too. I also like your voice." He said intertwining our fingers. I smiled and my face got really warm. I looked up into his eyes and he locked his eyes on me. In that moment, nothing else was going on. There wasn't a movie playing. There wasn't a faint sound of some game being played. There wasn't anything going n except for me and Trevor. He leaned into me and I leaned into him. I don't know how people can describe a kiss. Because I know I can't. Not this one!

We pulled apart when we saw flashes. I looked over my shoulder and saw Kian taking a picture. He awkwardly walked off and me and Trevor busted out laughing.
