Mumma and I were settled in the living room of our hotel suite. She was deep into explaining the intricate details of her upcoming project, her excitement evident in every word. I sat there, quietly listening, as she delved into even the tiniest features of the venture. It never ceased to amaze me how passionate she got when discussing her projects.
Papa and Priyal were due to arrive today, and we were all set to head over to the Rajvansh Palace for dinner.
Oh, and speaking of Vivaan, I'm not entirely sure what Mumma said to him, but he did calm down a bit. He told me that he'll talk to me later. I know he's still upset with me, but he loves me a lot and won't be able to stay mad at me for long. He's still in Seattle, working at a hospital. I'm really hoping he can make it to my wedding.
"Beta, we should start getting ready for dinner," Mumma suggested as she got up from the couch, and I nodded, following her lead.
"I've already ordered some flowers and sweets to take with us when we go for dinner," she informed me.
"Okay, Mumma," I replied, looking at her as she perused the closet, trying to decide what to wear. Then, with a mischievous grin, I said, "Mumma, wear that dress. You look fire in it."
She chuckled at my comment and nodded. "It's your father's favorite," she said with a knowing grin, and I couldn't help but agree. Of course, it was!
"Princess, I think you should wear a heavy-ish kurti. What do you think?" Mumma asked me, a hint of confusion in her tone. I nodded in agreement, saying, "Works for me, Mumma."
