"Hey, can we check out the waterfalls?" I burst out with excitement the moment we stepped into our cozy suite. We'd just reached Coorg. The beauty of this place was simply indescribable. Sure, Paris would have been fun, but India's allure was absolutely unbeatable.
"Meera, let's take a little breather first. It's getting dark, and we can explore the waterfalls tomorrow." He wrapped his arms around me from behind, and I melted into his embrace, leaning back into his warmth.
"This feels amazing," I confessed, and he responded by nuzzling his face into my neck, sending a playful shiver through me. "I love you," he whispered, planting gentle, feather-light kisses along my jawline. I couldn't help but grin at him. "I love you more, Ruhaan," I replied, turning around to gaze into his adorable face.
"Oh my gosh, Ruhaan, look! We have a private pool here too!" I exclaimed, breaking free from his hold and heading toward the pool. He grumbled but followed me. "Want to take a dip now?" he asked, and I furrowed my brow.
"I don't know how to swim, Remember?" I replied with a hint of sadness. I'd always regretted never learning how to swim. "Well, lucky for me... I'll hold you close," he quipped, earning a playful glare from me. "You're shameless," I teased.
I decided to take Ruhaan up on his offer to use the private pool. It was the perfect way to unwind after our journey. We found out that the resort provided new swimming costumes for sale on demand, and I couldn't have been happier.

After changing into my swimsuit, a sleek black one-piece that I felt pretty confident in, I made my way back to the poolside. Ruhaan was already there, and I couldn't help but notice the way he was staring at me.
"Like what you see?" I teased, twirling a bit to show off the swimsuit. Why this sudden boldness, Meera? Don't test his limits!
He cleared his throat, looking slightly flustered. "You look... stunning, Meera." His voice was low, and he seemed to be grumbling something under his breath.
I chuckled, enjoying the effect I seemed to have on him. "Well, I can say the same about you," I replied, appreciating the way his swim shorts clung to his muscular frame. He has a V-line, Yes. A V-line and a perfectly well-kept body. Very visible. Can we have a debate about if those abs are real or am I hallucinating?
