Truth hurts

Jax POV

After a wonderful morning with my beautiful family I tell Raven to pack her bag and a bag for Abel, Neeta is taking Abel for the weekend while I take my beautiful wife away for a small honeymoon. We knew we wanted to only do something small so I wanted to surprise her, I booked it all before she woke up and I know she is going to love it. I told her I had to go to the clubhouse for an hour at most and I promised I wouldn't be any longer.

"Where the hell have you been?" My Ma asks as I walk inside.
"I spent the morning with my wife and my child. I'm here for an hour and then I'm taking my wife away for a long weekend"
"Jax...."
"No Ma. I left her last night to sort club crap. It was our wedding night and she spent it alone. I'm already failing as a husband"
"Your not failing honey"
"Ma...."
"No. I'm in your side, you need to think about Raven and Abel and making me more grand children. I just don't know how with the club"

"I don't know either yet Ma but this weekend is about me and my wife. Nothing else"
She nods and kisses my cheek "what about Abel?"
"Neeta is taking him. I knew you had the office and everything to deal with so I didn't want to overwhelm you"
"Okay. Well if she needs any help just tell her call"
"I will. Clay in there?"
She nods again and I head inside church, I'm going to make it very clear I will be leaving in one hours time.

Raven POV

Neeta came to get Abel and I've been sitting here wondering if Jax will be keeping his word. He has 15 minutes to go and I'm not sure if he will be here. I'm all packed and ready to go, I know how important the club is and I don't want to make him chose because there isn't a choice. The club will always come first. I go to the kitchen to make myself a drink, I'm feeling pretty nauseous at the moment and I'm trying everything to ease it.

"Hey"
I turn and see Jax standing there smiling at me, I can't help but smile too.
"You stuck to your word"
"Of course I did. I promised you things would change. So are you ready to go on our honeymoon?"
I nod and kisses me passionately, I can't help but moan as his hand goes down to my ass and squeezes me. This pregnancy has definitely made me hornier then normal.

"Let's go"
He takes the luggage to the car and I lock up the house. He holds the car door open for me and I climb inside. When he enters the car he takes my hand and kisses the back of it.
"I love you"
"I love you too"
He starts up the car and drives away, leaving the club, the drama and everything else behind us. I can't wait to spend a whole weekend with my husband and hopefully not leave the bedroom.
