-one month later- Hazel is 19 weeks and 2 days-
Emily and Lia are talking. "Lia, you know you don't have to get a job, I can work, and you can be a stay at home mom." Em said."I told you, Em,I want to get a job, not just for Hazel but also for me, I need to know I can support my family." Lia said. "You and your pride." Em said. Lia rolled her eyes. "Ok, I support your decision." She said.

"Ok, thank you, I get to go back to work in 2 months. Who is going to watch Hazel?" Lia asked. "We can send her to daycare." Emily suggested. "I don't know if I trust daycare's to watch my child." She said.

"What about sophie?" Emily asked. "Good idea, I'm gonna call her." She called her. "Hey, sophie." "Hey sis, what's up?" Sophie asked. "I was wondering if you could babysit Hazel when I go back to work?" Lia questioned.  "What are the hours like?" Sophie asked. "It's night shifts. Some times are going to be different, though. I need to get my schedule first." She said. "I'm so sorry. I don't think that's going to work for me." She said. "It's ok, but thank you. Bye." "Bye, sis." Sophie said and hung up.

"She isn't available to watch Hazel. What am I going to do?" Lia asked. "I don't know, but we'll figure it out." Em said. "You're right." Lia said.

-the next day-
There was a knock at the door. Lia opened the door. "Hey Mama, what are you doing here?" She asked. "I came to see baby Hazel, I miss her." Mrs. Parker said. "You're always welcome to see your grand baby." She said and welcomed her in.

"Look who's here! Grandma Parker." Lia said. "Look what g-ma got you." Mrs. Parker said and gave her a rattle. Hazel shook the toy and was laughing at the sound it made. Lia smiled. Mrs. Parker picked up Hazel. "You have chubby little cheeks." She said. Lia had an idea.

"Hey, I have a question?" She asked. Mrs. Parker looked at her. "What's up?" "I wanna go back to work in 2 months, but I can't find someone to watch Hazel." She said. "I would love to." Mrs. P said. "Really, thank you, I owe you." Lia said. "Sweetie, you don't owe me anything." She said. "Really, thank you so much." Lia said. "Anything for my little Hazel." She said.

"I'm gonna make coffee. Do you want a cup?" Lia asked. "Yes, please." She said. Lia walked to the kitchen to make coffee. Mrs. Parker played with Hazel. Lia comes back in with the coffee and gives a cup to Mrs. Parker.

"So where are you going to be working?" Mrs. Parker asked. "I got a job at a fancy restaurant, but I have to work nights." She said. " That's so good that you are getting back to work again." She said. "I know, I just have to know that I can support her and me on my own, and when I get enough money, I am going to get an apartment." She said.

"Lia, you are the best mom, and you are you are doing enough. I just want you to know that you are doing so great." She said. "Thank you. I really am trying my best." She said.
