Vera and Theo were officially official and nothing had really changed.

Theo's love language was touch and he made every effort to show his love. A hand on Vera's thigh, a kiss on her cheek, a hand wrapped around her waist as he hugged her from behind or interlocked pinkies in class.

Vera hated PDA but she decided that Theo was worth it.

Unfortunately, Umbridge didn't think that stuff aligned with her academic values as High Inquisitor.

"Mr. Nott, hands to ourselves please." Umbridge repeated for what seemed like the hundredth time this week. Theo's large hand was rested on her leg, his slim fingers dangling off and brushing her bare kneecap. It was hardly a scandalous sight. Seriously, it could've been an accident. Umbridge's eyes caught it all though.

"My fault." The boy muttered, moving his hair, which was getting quite long, out of his face.

"Hm." The woman looked around with a tsk noise escaping her thin lips. Her beady eyes scanned the room. "Complete reading the chapter and you are dismissed for the weekend." She declared, her high pitched voice ringing in the student's ears.

Vera silently cheered, her eyes scamming the book at record speed. Theo watched her, amused. Just watching Vera made him so happy. The way the sunlight struck her eyes, turning them into pools of honey and how her face lit up whenever she learned some good information. Her sarcasm and jokes and her little dances in her room with the music blasting while Theo sat on the bed cracking up. Her perfect plump and dark lips and how they felt against his.

Theo knew that he had to take her out on a proper date now that they were official. However, he knew she wasn't a Madam Puddifoot's type of girl.

The only time they've been spending together is with their friends after dinner in the common room before they retreat back to their own dorms and either study or sleep.

He missed her and she was right there.

"Done." Vera whispered, shutting her book with a sigh. "Have you finished the chapter, Teddy?" She asked, leaning on the desk with an extended arm.

Theo smiled down at her. "Mhm." He lied, shutting the book and helping her pack up her things.

"Perfect, I can't wait to get out of here." She grinned at him, hoisting her bag onto one of her shoulders.

Vera gripped his hand as they joined the stream of students exiting the classroom. "Bye, have a good weekend, Professor." She said as if obligated.

"You as well, dear. Good work today." Umbridge replied dismissively.

After they were out of earshot, Vera groaned. "I hate that woman. I'll actually duel her."

Theo started to laugh. "What? You're the one who approached her first?" He watched as she rolled those pretty eyes.

"You wouldn't understand." She gripped his arm tighter as more and more people filled the halls. "I finished all my homework, are we doing anything this weekend with everyone?"
