"How do you feel that exams are over Theodore?" Vera asked her boyfriend, running up to him giddily as he exited the exam hall. She held her fist up to his face like a microphone.

Theo smiled at his girl's contagious smile and wrapped his arms around her. "Free as a bird, I cannot lie."

Vera hummed slightly, "Free as a hippogriff, even?" She asked, grinning up at him after her stupid joke.

"So, how about you never speak again." Theo ruffled her hair, laughing at her protests. "That was insensitive after that Buckbeak incident in third year."

Vera gasped, widening her eyes. "Oh, I forgot about that. That poor creature." She tutted, staring at the blond boy entering the Great Hall after finishing his exam. He began talking to Crabbe and Goyle."All because of that one." The girl narrowed her eyes, tying up her hair with her wand menacingly.

"For Draco's safety, I am going to have to keep you here. I wish the circumstances were different but it must be done." Theo said solemnly.

Vera scoffed, rolling her eyes. "Relax, Pansy's little boy toy won't be too messed up." She said. Theo raised his thick eyebrows and she sighed. "Fine. So, what's the plan after this? Black Lake with everyone?"

Theo squinted, starting to speak. "I was thinking," He continued despite noticing the girl's confused expression. "How about just the two of us at our spot?"

"I wish." Vera mumbled. "We already talked to the group about the lake today."

"Screw that. They probably don't even remember." He pushed a piece of her hair out of her face. "Let's make it a date."

"Pansy bought a new bikini, I think they remember." Vera laughed at her boyfriend's nonchalance.

"Did you?" Theo asked, a smirk spreading across his face.

Vera smiled at his excitement. "No..." She trailed off, amused at his disappointed pout. "But I will for tomorrow if you can wait that long until our date." She poked his nose lightly, causing him to scrunch up his face.

"Done." The boy nodded, grinning as Vera placed a kiss on his cheek.

Vera was surprised to see a letter on her desk. She was back in her dorm now and the girl could tell that the letter was fresh because the wax seal was still warm.

After opening it, she groaned aloud. "There's absolutely no way." She sunk into her seat, deeply irritated.

To all my faithful Inquisitorial Squad members,

This is an EMERGENCY. Report immediately to the Great Hall. You will be given assignments there.

This is mandatory. Consider yourself kicked off and your extra credit invalid if you decide to not show up.

—High Inquisitor and Headmistress Dolores Umbridge.

The message was obviously copied and pasted to all the members and it was menacing and annoying all in one.
