"The chicken one is fine.."I say to Jordan,standing beside him in the line at burger king as he ordered what i requested.
"want orange juice Ma?"He asks and i look up at him nodding before looking down at my phone again.Me and daniella were texting and she was telling me everything that happened.
Lets just say i'm shocked.
Jordan moves over to where we should collect our food and i do the same staying close to him.I slide one strap of my bag off my shoulder opening the big part of my bag as i slide my phone in it closing it back and fixing it on my back.
I was wearing jordan's sweater since it started raining heavily during lunch time straight to when school was over.Anuh say mi nuh like rain enuh but mi rather it fall when mi deh home.
Mi just feel crawny right now.
I sigh at the thought and jordan looks down at me.Before he questions me i speak."Mi feel crawny cause a di rain".
He then replies."Coulda deh home a bathe right now but yuh mek yuh belly rule yuh."I open my mouth in shock.After him nah nun bout him.
I roll my eyes and he speaks again."Soon fix dah eye rolling business deh nuh worry yuh self."I glare at him before replying."Mi notice say yuh love gi empty threats..nah say nothing more to yuh"
He collects my food without speaking,holding onto my hand as we exit the fast food store.Just as we stop at the car door his phone rings and he pulls it out his back pocket before speaking.
"Guh inna di car..soon come"I Nodd and he gives me the burger king bag walking to the side making sure to unlock the car.Once im inside i hear the doors make a click sound indicating that they're closed.
i place the burger king bag in the drivers seat so that i can remove my bag from my back.Once its off my back i throw it in the back seat rolling up the sweater sleeves.
Tank godd.Mi hungry and ekii lunch cya full belly.It deven taste good sometimes.
