(Y/n POV)

How could I be so stupid to forget something like that?

God Y/n, what the hell?

One of the most important scenes and it completely slipped my mind.

It doesn't even help that Min-kyu had just seen me cry, it makes it like, ten times more awkward than it should be.

I stood outside, near the set as the staff members were preparing for the next scene.

My make-up artist fixed my makeup and hair as I waited for the filming to begin.

I just couldn't help but feel nervous.

"Y/n?" A voice behind me called out once my make-up artist stepped away.

I turned around to see Min-kyu standing there.

"Yeah?" I look at him and he moves a little closer.

"Are.. you ready?" He asked slowly.

I hummed in reply, "Just a bit nervous." I said truthfully.

Min-kyu stifled a laugh, "there's no need to." He reassured me, "It will go by quicker than you think."

"How, how many takes do you think we need?" I say hesitantly.

"Hmm not sure," he shrugged, "I'd ask the director, but he seems a bit busy." Min-kyu glanced over to our director, who was helping the team fix the lighting.

"I see..." I nod.

"Y/n! Min-kyu! start getting ready on set!" The director called out to us.

I exhaled deeply, walking onto the set before I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Try to calm down a little," Min-kyu said quietly, "it makes it much easier."

I nod and get in position in front of him.

It's still dark outside in the park that we're filming in. We were near the bench I was crying at earlier, but this time we stood under a street lamp for better lighting.

"Standby~" The director spoke, "okay. Action!" He announced before the camera started rolling.

"Yejin-ah, look at me please." Seo-jun tilted my head up towards him.

I still couldn't shake off the nervousness from earlier, I felt my cheeks heat a little as we made eye contact.

"Do you understand now?" He asked, "I could never hurt you like that."

"I know it was a mistake, and it wasn't your fault." I spoke, "But seeing you with someone else..."

That line was the cue for Min-kyu to lean in and kiss me.

It took a few seconds before he leaned in, I felt his lips gently press against mine.

Following the script, I kissed him back and placed my arms loosely on his shoulders.

I felt his hands subtly rub my back a little, his gentle touch calmed me down a bit.

He then pulled away and stared into my eyes.

"I'll make it up to you." He spoke his last line before the director interrupted.

"Cut!!"

Min-kyu removed his hands from me, sending me a warm smile.

"Okay?" He asked, tilting his head at me.

"Yeah..." I nodded slowly.

"We'll shoot this maybe, a few more times, but first come take a look at it." The director beckoned us over.

As we monitored the scene, the staff members couldn't help but cheer in the background.

"I think they like it," the director laughed, looking towards Min-kyu and me.

Min-kyu laughed a little, "seems like it.." He replied.

"I mean, if I'm being honest, the chemistry between you two on set is amazing." The director complimented, "It makes filming much easier." He said truthfully.

"Satisfied?" The director looked at me.

"Yes but if you need to do a few more takes I don't mind," I reply.

The director nodded, "We'll do a few more then we'll wrap it up for tonight." He smiled.

We prepared for the next few takes and if I'm being honest. I don't think I've kissed the same person in a row this many times before.

And I didn't mind it, because Min-kyu was such a nice guy, he was always respectful to me and other staff members.

Being that, I felt more relaxed and comfortable for the next few takes that was filmed.

We were preparing for the last take, and I positioned myself in front of Min-kyu once again.

I looked at him briefly, catching him looking at me before he spoke quietly, "I'm letting you know, just for this take, I might go a little bit off-script." He whispered, looking at me for approval and I nodded in response.

"Okay. Action!" The director announced.

"Yejin-ah, look at me please." Seo-jun tilted my head up towards him like before.

"Do you understand now?" He asked, "I could never hurt you like that."

"I know it was a mistake, and it wasn't your fault." I spoke, "But seeing you with someone else..."

Min-kyu leaned in and kissed me like earlier, I gently placed my arms on his shoulders as I kissed him back.

His hands moved down to my waist, pulling me closer, catching me off guard a little, my heart jumping at his sudden action.

Now that I was much closer to him, he deepened the kiss and tilted his head a little to make it easier.

It was hard to admit, but I enjoyed the kiss. He was gentle yet firm, his touch was comforting and wasn't restricting.

I tightened my arms around him a bit more, the kiss was longer than before.

I felt him softly bite my lip before he pulled away, "I'll make it up to you." Min-kyu said calmly as I stared at him, his hand gently brushing through my hair before the director interrupted.

"Cut!!"

Min-kyu smiled, moving away from me, "I didn't know you were going off-script as well." He laughed.

"Only by a little," I smiled back as we walked to the director to monitor the last take.

"You two~" The director teased, "that was amazing." He smiled, "I didn't think it would go that far."

"We kind of just went with it." I stifled a laugh.

"I think we'll use the last take," the director laughed, "don't you all agree?" He asked looking around at the staff members who also were watching.

They cheered in response with 'woos' and 'yeahs'. I glanced at Min-kyu beside me to see him laughing.

He then turned to me with a smile, "Feeling better?" He chuckled.

"Much better."
