Saanvi POV:

After coming back from grandpa's home, I sat on my bed, thinking, "What the hell, why should I marry a stranger? I want a love marriage, someone I can fall in love with, a man who can really take care of me."

You know I'm a big fan of Shahrukh Khan, so my standards in men are always high. But I do trust in grandpa's choice because he knows me, he knows my past, he knows everything, so he will also know what kind of a man I want.

I took my phone, dialing the only number who can make me think rationally. She picked up immediately, saying, "Anvi babe, open the door." I laughed and went to the main door, only to get hugged by a hug monster, Vaish, my best friend since kindergarten. She asked, "So why is my Anvi like this? What happened?" I giggled, pulling her to the living room.

She showed me a cover she was holding. I took it from her and saw she brought my favorite cake. I smiled, hugging her, "You're the best, Vaish. I wish you were a boy so that I could marry you." She laughed, saying, "Babe, you know even girls can marry." I threw a pillow at her, and we both laughed for a while.

As I said, "Vaish, Dhada asked me to get married," her face became serious as she asked, "And what did you say?" I hesitated, saying, "I agreed." She stood up, exclaiming, "What the heck, Anvi? I thought you wanted a love marriage! What happened to the dreams of falling in love?"

I calmed her, saying, "Cool down, Vaish. I know, but you know I trust Dhada. It's not like I am marrying him straight away. We will meet and talk, and then see where this goes." She sighed, saying, "You should say this first." I smiled sinisterly, and she said, "Oh, that smile is bad. What did you do?" I said, "I am going to Paris. Dhada said after I come back from Paris, he will arrange a meeting."

She hugged me, saying, "Oh my god, you're finally going to your dream city." I nodded, saying, "You know I love traveling, and I've traveled to lots of places, but Paris is my dream city, the city of love. I hope I find someone there so that I can say to Dhada that I am in love, so I don't want to marry a stranger." She nodded, pulling me into a hug, saying, "That's my girl."

After some time, I heard my door opening. The only person who enters my home without a key is my little brother. As I went into the living room, he came inside, and I ran to him, hugging him. He laughed, saying, "Geez, woman, get off me." I laughed, pulling away, asking, "What? It's been a month since you last visited me. You forgot your sister?"

He shook his head and kept an arm around my shoulder, saying, "How in the world will I forget my only sister, huh? I was busy with exams, Di, but I will called you every day, didn't I?" I nodded, and he continued, "And until 18 years, didn't I stay with you itself, Di? I am grown up. I can take care of myself. Don't stress yourself anymore." I nodded, pulling him into the kitchen.

Vaish saw him and said, "Look, the baby brother decided to show up." He smiled, asking, "Di, what are you doing here?" She replied, "Well, your sister is getting married, so I must be here, don't I?" I punched her for putting me in this situation, and Rishi's eyes went wide as he looked at me, asking if she was serious. I glared at Vaish, sighed, and pulled Rishi to the balcony.

He asked, "What the hell, Di? How come I didn't know?" I said, "Calm down, kiddo. It's nothing like you thought." I told him the whole story, and he hugged me, saying, "After you meet him, just give me a call, Di. If he's a jerk, I will handle him." I laughed, ruffling his hair, and he pushed my hand, saying, "Di, yaar, I fixed my hair just now."

He side-hugged me, saying, "Di, I know you've done everything in your power to make me who I am today. I know how hard it was for you. Now that I am grown up, it's time for you to enjoy your life, Di. Promise me that you will stop stressing yourself."
