Saanvi POV:

I was sleeping peacefully until I heard my phone ring. I groaned in sleep but picked up the call without seeing the caller ID. I asked, "What the hell do you want?" I heard my brother saying, "Di, you need to come back. Dhada is not well." I got up in shock, asking, "What is wrong, kiddo?" He said, "Nothing more serious, Di, but he wants you back as he is thinking he will die soon." I said, "Don't worry kiddo, I will be there by tomorrow."

I hung up the call and immediately dialed Vaish. She picked up, saying, "I booked a flight which is one hour from now. Go pack." I sighed, saying, "I love you, Vaish. You're the best." I hung up the call.

She's always been like this, I thought, looking beside me. I saw Aan sleeping very peacefully. I didn't want to wake him up, and I didn't want to leave him so soon. I sighed, kissing his face. I got up, getting ready.

I didn't change his shirt because I wanted a piece of him with me until I find him again. I wrote him a letter and left with one last look at him. In the flight, I cried as my heart was paining. I met him not so long ago, right? And I don't even know if I love him or not. Then why is my heart paining? I calmed down after a bit.

As I went to the hospital, I saw my grandma, Rishi, and Vaish sitting there. As Vaish saw me, she came to me, hugging. Rishi took my bag, and I went to grandma. She hugged me, crying, and I patted her, saying, "He will be fine, Dhadi. Don't worry." I asked Rishi, "Where is the doc, kiddo?" He showed me the way.

As I went in, the doctor was my school friend and my family doctor as well. He greeted me, "Anvi, how are you?" I smiled a little, saying, "I am fine Dhruv, what about you?" He nodded, saying, "Well, your grandfather is the same as before. He is so weak, has diabetes, high blood pressure, and if it goes on like this, I am sure he will not live long." I sighed, saying, "I will take care of him, Dhruv." I asked, "So when can we take him home?" He said, "I will do a check-up tomorrow, and then you can take him home, okay?" I nodded.

After some time, I sent grandma home with Rishi. Vaish sat with me there. She turned my face towards her and said, "Babe, come on, you gotta tell me what happened. I don't like the look on your face." I hugged her, crying, and said everything that happened. She sighed, saying, "I know it's weird that you got this much attached to him in these 3 days, but trust your heart, Anvi. Trust your instinct. How about you take two days to think about your feelings, and then we come to a conclusion to plan our action?" I nodded, sniffing.

The next day, I went into grandpa's room. He looked away from me as I scolded, "You old man, how many times will you make me worried? You never follow your diet properly, you never stop eating sweets. What do you want, Dhada?" He said, "I want to live my life happily until I get to live."

I sighed, saying, "I know, Dhada, but can't you think of Dhadhi? Can't you think of us? It's not that I am telling you to follow everything strictly, but you have to balance life, right?" He nodded, saying, "I will behave, Princess. Promise." I nodded, hugging him. After the doc checked him, we headed home.

I went back to my store after a few days since I returned. As I walked in, all my staff greeted me, and I nodded at them happily. I am very much content in the work I do. I love making jewelry, and I don't care about the income or all this media attention. All I want is to create jewelry that my customers wish for.

This store was once a very small one with only me and Vaish. Now it is a billion-dollar store with many staff members working. I am happy that I was able to provide for many families. Vaish is the head of all departments, and I am only the head of the art department and also the CEO. Well, she is the main one as she brings me files and says to sign, and I will sign. That's all my work is done.
