Saanvi POV:

Today is our engagement day, and I'm currently at his home, pacing in his bedroom. The engagement is scheduled for the evening in his home garden, a spacious venue that can accommodate more people than any function hall could.

However, I still don't have the dress because Aan said he would get it for me, and now he's nowhere to be seen. I sighed and went out to the big balcony. I heard footsteps and turned back to see Rahul there. He gave me a huge smile and asked, "Killer, what are you doing here?"

I replied, "I'm so nervous, Rahul. I don't have the dress yet, and your brother is nowhere to be found." He reassured me, saying, "Relax, Killer. I guess he went to bring you the dress." I nodded as he added, "Or maybe he may have gone to kill someone."

I gave him a confused look, and he chuckled, saying, "Well, the people who offended Bhai or did something bad, he would lock them up in the cellar and kill them whenever he wants." I shook my head, remarking, "He did live up to his title, 'Devil'." Rahul chuckled with me and then asked, "Then why are you marrying this devil, Killer?"

I said, "Have you ever seen a flawed man striving to be a better person just for his woman? Do you know how lucky I feel because he has his eyes only on me, no matter how pretty other women are?
Do you know how much I love when I see him, capable of destroying the world, getting on his knees in front of me and calling me his world? If this unreal is love, tell me, who in their right mind would not get married to him?"

Rahul applauded, saying, "I now understand why he is so obsessed with you, Killer." I smiled at him as I heard a throat clearing, without turning back I know it was him.

Aan came in, handing me a box, saying, "Can't wait to see you in this, Vie. And stop talking to this guy; go get ready." Rahul pouted, saying, "I am talking to my best friend."

Aan responded, "Oh, once she came, I am no longer your best friend, right?" I sighed and left because this had become a daily routine between these two. Anandh and Rishi were sitting there playing something on their phones.

I smiled at them, knowing that Anandh was slowly getting back to normal, and I was glad that Rishi could spend some time with him.

I called out "kiddos", and they both looked up. I said, "Come on, go get ready; it's time." They nodded and went to their rooms. Aan came behind me, saying, "It looks like we have two kids already, Vie." I chuckled, elbowed him, and went to our room. Soon, Shri and Vaish came in, helping me get ready.

After getting ready, I realized I didn't have the matching set of jewelry with me. I looked at Vaish, who panicked, saying, "Babe, don't cry, okay? I will get them." I nodded, controlling my tears as I hated this happening on my engagement day. Shri also panicked, and seeing my distress, she went out.

After a moment, the door swung open wide, and Aan came running towards me. He knelt in front of me, lifted my face, and cupped my cheek, asking, "What is wrong, baby?" I said, "Aan, there is no matching jewelry with me for this. I want to look beautiful on our engagement day."

He kissed my forehead, saying, "You know you're the most beautiful woman I have ever seen Vie, with makeup or without makeup, with jewelry or without jewelry, whether it's your morning face or your bad hair day face, everything about you is beautiful, Vie. You're my angel."

He wiped my tears and continued, "And how will I forget those little things which enhance your timeless beauty?"

I smiled at him as he handed me a small box containing all the things I needed, and most importantly, it matched my dress. I hugged him tight, saying, "You're the best, Aan." He chuckled, saying, "Now come on, get ready, and come down quickly, okay?" I nodded.
