TAEHYUNG'S POV

I smiled stealing a glance of YN who was currently talking with the kids on her phone, while I was driving out of the restaurant at which we had dinner just a few moments ago. Finally, on the day of the baby shower YN talked to me, we hadn't talked about the past yet and me too avoid that knowing her dangerous mood swings so for a change I planned a surprise date for her today and the smile on her face is the evidence that how much she liked it as she was restricted to step out of the house.

She put her phone back and declined the call with a huge smile on her face, I chuckled focusing back on the road, and asked,

"Want ice cream?"

She looked at me with puppy eyes while biting her lower lip making me chuckle, that's the cutest yes,  I nodded and asked,

"Which flavor?"

She pouted and thought hard for a moment and suddenly she looked at me with her infamous puppy eyes and replied,

"Pineapple please"

I sighed and mumbled,

"I can't understand your obsession with Pineapple"

She pouted crossing over her arms while huffing looking away she mocked me,

"You can't judge me for that"

I look at her with a frown at the sudden change in her mood, taking a deep breath I carefully apologize,

"I'm sorry Strawberry, I won't say anything about your pineapple"

She nodded with satisfaction I shook my head in disbelief and pulled over the side of the road where an ice cream vendor was standing. I unbuckled my seatbelt but frowned as YN also removed her seatbelt, but before her hand could reach the door I held her hand and asked confusingly,

"Where are you going?"

She looked back at me and while shrugging casually she answered,

"I'm coming with you"

I sighed and tried to tell her calmly,

"Strawberry you stay here I'll be back in a minute with your ice cream"

She pouted showing me her puppy eyes, and mumbled,

"Pretty please"

I closed my eyes for a mere second controlling myself from doing anything that would make her cry, calming myself I opened my eyes and with a small smile I told her,

"Okay but you are not allowed to leave my hand"

She nodded obediently like a child eager to outside, getting out of the car I ran towards her side and opened her door, and she smiled putting her hand in my extended one she got out of the car, hugging her closer to me we walked towards the ice cream stall, I ordered her favorite Pineapple and Strawberry ice cream for myself. I handed her ice cream first and immediately grabbed it like a kid and started licking it, I chuckled looking at her cute-self eating ice cream like a kid while having our cute little princess resting in her huge but beautiful baby bump.

 Turning back I took my ice cream and pulled out my wallet, paying our bill to the ice cream vendor I turned around and my eyes widened, looking at YN eating ice cream walking towards the road, and a car at very high speed coming towards her.

I ran by her side but it was too late, my heart stopped beating as I saw YN's almost unconscious figure lying on the road covered with blood. With my wobbly legs, I walked towards her and kneeled beside her unable to believe anything, she held her baby bump looking at me, and whispered,
