Before the battle between Cinder and Team RWBY/SRM, just as the doorways opened. In the mines of Mantle, people started to walk through the portal as some people were still helping the injured. On a cot rests an unconscious teen with red hair as the camera closed in on his eyes, opening them as he finds himself on a bed in a dark, barely lit room.
Hercule: W-wha... Where am I?
???: Oh how splendid, you're awake!
Hercule looks over to see someone sitting next to him beside the bed. This man looked to be older with short orange hair and a mustache as he wore a green suit with a red bowtie and glasses.

???: I was hoping you'd be up sooner...
Hercule: Who are you? W-where, am I? Wait... Last thing I remember was being shot by.... O-oh... I know where I am. I'm dead aren't it.
Tears well up in Hercule's eyes as he lowers his head. Suddenly the man placed his hand on Hercule's shoulder.
???: You are not dead, just in limbo my boy... Though you are in rough condition in the real world.
Hercule: I failed.... I let my guard down and because of that, Ironwood's going to end up ruining everything we've worked so hard to achieve.
The man stood up as he walked over to the window as he opened them, making a soft wind blow through the room.
???: You didn't fail, my boy. Just a setback of events.
Hercule: Who are you?
???: You may not know my name..... But we both share the same mark.
Hercule's eyes widen as he looks back at the man who revealed himself to be the original Sun Mark. He then remembered the vision Jinn shown them back after the train crash, but that guy was larger, muscular, and proud..... Just like Hercule when it was daytime.
Apollo: You may call me Apollo, and yes, I was the original Sun Mark. It's a pleasure to meet you.
Hercule: But, I saw you before.... You were larger, muscular, just like me at daytime. H-how?
Apollo: The sun element is the strongest one of all. It's power never changes even after being passed onto the next wielder of the Elemental power. Please, follow me.
Apollo walked out of the room as Hercule steps out of the bed and follows him outside to see a large open field, with the night sky covering the air.
Apollo: Beautiful isn't it? When I was alive the thing I enjoyed the most was the night, even though I was weak without the sun.... You could lose endless hours watch the stars.
Hercule looks out into the sky and felt the same thing. Which was confusing to him as he grew to realize the connections between him and the previous Sun Mark.
