It has been a few days since you and Lauren had been at the park. Nothing new happened. Same old.
But you, you found Lauren and you an apartment. It was small but 'cozy' looking according to Lauren.

So you were going to do a small tour with the previous owner who was trying to sell it.

Lauren was out for coffee with a friend whom she managed to make over the past three days. You on the other hand, had been trying to get a job and apartment. Not that you cared, it was just hard that You can't have as much time with Lauren anymore.

You pulled over on the side of the street, in front of the apartment. You got out of your car and put two quarters into the parking meter.

Before walking into the building, you looked up and studied the outside of the building for a moment.

Quickly making your way to the seventh floor, having to take the stairs because the elevater was broken.

You stopped at the address and knocked on the door. 76B. The previous owner said she'd be there.
Deana.. Or something.

"Hey!" A tall light brown skinned girl said as she swung the door open.

"Hi!" You said smiling. She smiled back and stepped back so you can walk in.

"Uh.. Y/N right?" She asked as she closed the door. You studied the apartment for a moment before coming to realization she was asked a question.

"Yeah." You confirmed. She nodded her head slowly.

"I'm Dinah. Dinah Jane." She told you as you both shook hands, "And this is the living room." She held her hands out and looked at you smiling. "I am sorry. I'm horrible at this." She laughed.

"It's okay." You said, letting out a soft giggle. You got serious and so did she but you both laughed.

"Wow look at us- tryna be all serious n shit." She said.

"Okay, okay." You said calming down. "It's nice. I mean it's big but thats good... Right?"

She just shrugged. "I could fit everything that I had in this room."

"I guess thats ... Good." You said looking at her half-questioningly.

"Anyway. Moving on.." She said giggling and walking down the hallway.

"There are a total of four rooms in the apartment. One bathroom." She said pointing to the small room which she claimed to be the washroom. "And three bedrooms." She said as she quickly pointed out the rooms.

You followed her back down the hallway as she made her way to what seemed to be the kitchen.

"Here is the kitchen. Best place of the apartment. Wanna know why? Ask me why." She encouraged.

You looked at her for a moment. "Why?"

"Because this is the place where you store all the food." She said slowly and dramatically.

"Amen." You said. It echoed in the room which caused you and Dinah to laugh.

"And there you have it." The tall girl said, "The greatest apartment in Vancouver, British Columbia!"

"I think I'll get it." You said. It's one of the only available apartments out of very little you can get. It was almost impossible to find a good apartment with decent rooms and an amazing view of Grandville.

"Okay." She said. She leant forward but before she could plant a kiss you backed away.

"Sorry- I have a.. A girlfriend." You told her. Her face grew confused but changed within seconds.

"I was just gonna give you a kiss on the cheek, silly." She said seductively before poking your nose lightly.

Not controlling your feels, your cheeks flushed.

"Cute." She said before walking to the door. "C'mon. I'll walk with you downstairs."

You didn't say a word. Just followed her out the door.

As you were walking down the stairs, she pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to you.

"Call me, cutie." She said before walking out of the building and down the block.

"What the.." You said quietly as you started at the paper.

Why the sudden interest?
