"We just kissed." Lauren said.
You felt hurt but it was just a kiss. Nothing more right?
"Just a kiss? Nothing more?" You asked quickly.
She hesitated for a moment but spoke up again. "We.. We made out a bit but I stopped."
"How long has this been going on?" You asked her. Was this the friend she had been hanging out with? Did she invite 'Camz' over for sex? Was she thinking of you when it all happened?!
"Well she kissed me once but quickly apologized. I was gonna tell her about you I swear! It just- there was never a time." She tried to explain. It wasn't convincing you though. Why hadn't she just told the girl she was in a relationship when they first kissed.
"You never thought of me? When you kissed? Not even the first time?!" You asked her. You were in complete awe but that changed when she didn't reply. A hot tear streamed down your face.
You looked at her, starring in her glossy green eyes before quickly walking out of the hotel room:
As you were swiftly walking down the hall, she called out your name several times. Her voice was hoarse and she was sobbing, making you very aware that she was crying.
As you waited for the elevator to reach the lobby floor, you wiped your tears away and pulled the piece of paper out of your pocket.
"Hello?" Dinah's voice questioned on the other line.
"Dinah. Hey. It's Y/N. Whata yuh say we meet up?" You asked her before bitting your nails nervously.
"For what?" She asked.
"Some drinks.. I don't know. Let's go out."
"What happened to the 'relationship' you had?" Dinah asked confused.
"I lied."
