Announcer: The final match of the Kanto League Indigo Conference is about to begin! Niko's first Pokemon will be Eevee, and starting off with his Parasect is Levi!
Levi: Heh.
Niko: So, it's Parasect.
Pokédex: Parasect, the Mushroom Pokemon. Parasect is known to infest large trees en masse and drain nutrients from the lower trunk and roots. When an infested tree dies, they move onto another tree all at once.
Niko: Careful, Eevee! That Parasect could be trouble!
Eevee: Vee! (Gotcha)
Over at the sidelines, Ash, Ritchie, Misty, Brock, Duplica, Kota and their Pokemon cheer Niko on.
Misty: He's starting off with Parasect.
Ritchie: It's a Bug type, so he's gotta watch out.
Brock: I'm afraid this is gonna be one tough battle for Niko.
Duplica: Yeah.
Announcer: The judge is now ready, the match can finally begin!
Niko: Let's go, Eevee!
Levi: Use Dig, Parasect! Parasect goes underground.
Niko: Where'd it go? Eevee stops and looks around.
Announcer: Parasect is using Dig to hide itself!
Kota: Not good. Niko can't figure out where Parasect will come from.
Ritchie: It's okay. I'm sure Niko will figure something out.
Niko: Eevee, try to figure out its position by using your ears! Eevee agrees and he starts listening for Parasect's movements. It appears right behind it.
Levi: Parasect, use Slash, now! Parasect lashes out on Eevee.
Announcer: Eevee took a direct hit by that Slash attack!
Levi: Parasect, use Slash again! Parasect dashed toward Eevee and strikes again.
Duplica: Eevee!
Kota: I'm afraid that Parasect might beat Eevee.
Niko: Hang in there, Eevee! You can do it, buddy! Eevee looks around and realizes Parasect dug again. Be careful! It could be anywhere!
Levi: Parasect, another Slash attack, now!Parasect lashes out.
Niko: Dodge it, Eevee, quick! Eevee does so.
Levi: Parasect, get em with your Stun Spore! Parasect shakes, spreading its spores everywhere.
Announcer: Parasect spreads out its deadly pollen across the field.
Levi: What the! Levi finds that Eevee was nowhere to be found.
Niko: Way to go, Eevee! Time for a counterattack! Eevee jumps out one of the holes Parasect created.
Duplica: Alright!
Announcer: Eevee has got the drop on Parasect!
Niko: Now, Eevee, Shadow Ball, go! The attack launches and nails Parasect, defeating it.
Referee: Parasect is unable to battle, Eevee wins! Parasect's picture blacks out on the scoreboard.
Announcer: Parasect is out! Its moves were impressive, but Eevee's were just as impressive!
Levi: Dumb Bug. Can't even defeat something as pathetic as that? He said angry as recalled it.
Niko: You okay, Eevee?
