"Alright, now as we look at this equation and we follow the process we just learned, what do we get?" Ms. Michaels asked the class. One student raised his hand. "Yes?"

"We get 7."

"No. Double check the process. Make sure you do every step." She looked back at the class. "Anyone else?" No one raised their hand. "Janet."

"Hmm." Janet smiled as she doodled in her notebook. She was thinking about Toni. Mrs. Janet Braxton. Toni and Janet Braxton. Mrs. Janet Damita Jo Braxton. Mrs. Braxton. Muna Jo Braxton. Gracie Ann Braxton. Alexander Michael Braxton. Jubril Eli Braxton. She giggled to herself.

"Janet." Gil hit her arm and she looked up.

"What?" He pointed to the teacher. "What?"

"What's the answer to the equation on the board?" Janet looked at the board and quickly went back to her notes.

"Ummm....uhhhh.." She moved as quickly as she could. "8.3." Ms. Michaels smiled.

"Correct." She went back to the front. Janet sat back in her seat and sighed. Gil snickered.

"What?" She whispered. Her other friends giggled too. "What?"

"She's so in love." said Tina. She made kissy faces at her.

"Shut up." Janet laughed and went back to her other page. Tonight was her special date with Toni and she was so excited. She was also a little nervous. After tonight, she'd no longer be a virgin. She would finally feel what she's wanted but avoided for such a long time, but she knew it was good for her to wait, because now she had Toni. Toni would make this special. She'd feel beautiful and loved just like she always wanted. All because of Toni. Toni. Toni Toni. Janet smiled to herself again. She loved Toni.

"Janet." She jumped at Ms. Michaels voice.

"Huh?"

"Class is over, honey." Janet looked at the clock. Class was over, which meant her school day was over. Which meant Toni was waiting for her. Thank God for half days.

"Sorry." Janet quickly gathered her things in her book bag and ran out of the classroom. Going to her locker, she quickly switched what she needed out and headed to the front door. When she stepped out of the school, Toni was waiting by her car. Janet ran down the stairs to her. "Baby." Toni looked up and put her phone away. She picked Janet up and kissed her.

"Hey, baby. How was your day?"

"It was good, but it's much better now."

"Hmmm, I wonder why."

"Because you're here." Toni opened the car door and sat Janet inside. She closed the door and went to the driver's side.

"You ready for your special day?" Janet smiled and nodded.

"Definitely."

"Cool, do you need to stop at home for anything?" Toni pulled away from the school.

"No, I put everything in my bag this morning."

"Then let's get going." Toni headed for the freeway.

"What do you have planned?" Toni smiled and kept driving. "Toni, don't tease me." She chuckled. "Toni." Janet whined.

"Just let the day happen." Janet sat back in her seat. "We also need to talk about something." Janet's heart started racing as fear ran through her body. She didn't want anything to ruin this day.

"What's wrong?"

"We're about to do something big today and I want to, once again, make sure this is what you want."
