Toni stood at her stove as she finished preparing breakfast for Janet. She had been here for two days and for the first day she slept and cried the whole time. She hadn't talked about what happened and Toni wasn't going to force her. She was shocked that she stayed over anyway. Janet had wanted to see Toni's house, but this wasn't the way she intended for it to happen. It was supposed to be special after a date or something, not when picking Janet up from a fight with her mother.

She took everything off the stove and started making two plates. After two days, she felt that Janet really needed to eat, so she made her favorite breakfast. Once everything was ready, Toni carried the tray up the stairs to her bedroom. When she got there, Janet was still asleep. She looked so small in Toni's bed. She had a California King and Janet felt comfortable in it instantly.

Toni sat the tray at the foot of the bed and went over to wake Janet. "Baby." Nothing. She gently shook her. "Baby, get it up."

"Mmm." Janet groaned and turned her head. "Go away."

"But I made you breakfast." Janet turned her head back.

"What'd you make?"

"Get up and find out." Janet stretched and sat up. The cover fell off of her and exposed her bare chest.

"Oh." She covered herself back up.

"You look beautiful in the morning." Toni pushed her hair back and kissed her cheeks.

"Thank you." She kissed her deeply and Janet wrapped her arms around her neck. "Mmmm." They pulled apart and Janet giggled. "I can get used to being here."

"Oh foreal."

"Yeah."

"Well, I can get used to it too if you gone be doing what you did last night." Janet blushed. "What was that? Not that I'm not loving it, but it was just something about the way you just....took over." Janet covered her face. "Don't be shy. Talk to me."

"I just..." She put her hands down. "...I don't know. Something just came out of me."

"Trust me, I know. I had to change the whole bed." Janet laughed.

"Shut up. What did you cook?"

"Oh." Toni moved the tray over to her. "I made you crepes with a strawberry topping and whipped cream and eggs." Janet eyes lit up.

"Oh my gosh. I didn't know you can cook this good."

"Hey, I'm a hood nigga with class." They laughed. "Taste it." Janet picked up the forked and took a bite of the crepe.

"Oh my god." Her eyes rolled back. "This is so good." She ate another piece.

"I'm glad you like it." Toni moved around the room, straightening up while Janet ate her breakfast. She picked up the clothes and sheets that were dirty and put them in the hamper. She straightened up Janet's luggage in the corner where she put them. At one point, she wanted to unpack them and put them in a drawer or the closet, but she didn't want to move too quickly. However, in the bathroom, Janet had her toiletries and skincare products on the counter, so Toni organized it on one side with hers on the other.

Back in the room, Janet had finished eating and moved the tray to the nightstand. She was now just watching Toni move around. Janet liked being with Toni. She felt truly happy when around her. When she needed Toni, she was there immediately and she didn't push or force her to talk about anything. It was something Janet was used to. She's always been forced into things or to talk about things, even if it made her uncomfortable, but not with Toni. All she wanted was for Janet to be happy and loved. "I know you staring at me, creep." Janet laughed.
