If I could fold my fear into a crane
Would you watch with me as it flies
Over the lakes of despair we wade through
All because they told us that dreams fail
Reality is all that matters, so give up!

Drifting through the clouds of greed
Passion guides our hearts towards life
Through which we find meaning to joy,
Earned through strife, greed, and pain
Shaking the hearts and minds of man

Wake up, wake up to the lies of pride,
Face those who tear our dreams apart
Question what they claim is fact
Until all that remains is answers of truth
Joy beyond any doubt that we still live!

Vacant the eyes of those who fell,
Only walking the same paths each day,
Not knowing when the nightmare ends
Let us wake the dreamer inside us all
Claiming the passions of youth once more!

Keep your head down, your dreams at night,
Slave away at the machine of our design
Which grinds all hope to doubt for our joy
Oh, they told us to reach for our dreams
For them to be made out of reach to us

Marching forth to dreams and life,
We face the destroyers who keep us caged
United as one in the goal of breaking free
They told us to get back or know pain,
But they are the ones to learn true pain.

Cast aside the chains of doubt and lies,
