If I was numb, could I still feel pain?
I want to stop feeling pain.
Pain drives me from things.
Pain leads me away from new experiences.
I want to learn more about the world!
I want to know what love is like,
But stupid pain gets in the way!
Pain of guilt, fear, doubt.
These deter me from it.
I want my pains to go away.
I hear so many people say God will take it,
But it never seems to be as much as I want it to.
Pain is never any fun to feel or have around.
