It's rare to find an adult who can understand
What it is like to live as a teen in this age.
It feels like no one understands sometimes.
Sometimes there are people who understand,
But these people are few and far between.
So far between that you can feel alone,
Helpless, afraid to be left alone again.
Feelings can strengthen us and help us,
But be wary as the can also hinder us.
Love can blind us, fear can destroy us,
Bravery can lead to scars, while blind rage
Just causes wounds that never truly heal.
It is rare to find people who listen today.
Find listeners, and just talk to them.
You might be surprised how light you feel.
