Third Person POV

Greg sat back on his couch with a content smile on his face. He was watching TV, the glow from the screen was the only light in the dark room. "Finally, after all this time I got what I wanted." He mumbled to himself.

"...and the person I have to thank for ruining my client and my friend's career is Kesley Jean-Baptist. Not only did she try to frame her own boyfriend, she acted as though she hadn't a clue as to what was going on...." The familiar voice of Tracey, Xavier's manager, rang though the quiet room.

Greg grunted, with a smirk on his face. "Morons. They have all that money and fame yet they can't seem to realize what's going on right in their faces." He spoke aloud although no one was listening, or so he thought.

BANG!

The front door to Greg's home slammed open. Surprised Greg shot up, welding the root beer bottle at the surprise visitor. "Ayana," Greg put down his bottle, reassured that it was only his partner in crime, or as Greg liked to think; the person who'd take the fall if this plan went south. "You're here to enjoy the glory of our success, I assume?" He plopped himself back on the couch returning to his previous position.

Ayana stood there, hand on her hips, with a glare on her face. "No. I'm here to tell you that you need to stop! Come clean. This isn't what was supposed to happen,Greg." She started to pace running her hands down her face in frustration. "Greg! You said this was supposed to help Xavier, not ruin my best friend!" She growled.

Greg just rolled his eyes, reaching for the coffee table to grab another bottle. "Best friend? You mean the one you helped me sabotage?" He replied, nonchalantly. Ayana paused before frowning.

"I didn't do that Greg, that was all you, and you know it." She replied, but deep down she knew that if Greg got caught, so would she.

Greg turned around to face her.Raising a brow he gave her a sinister grin. "All me? So, I was the one who had the password to Kelsey's e-mail and sent all those fake rumors about Xavier?" Ayana shrank back, fear beginning to sallow her, but Greg didn't stop there. "I was the one who sneaked into Tracey's office and sent all those producers, managers, the same rumor? Making sure to delete the evidence? Hmmm, because with all that information, it's not me who was behind this Ayana...it was you." He gave her a wink before turning to watch the show once more, completely ignoring her presence.

Ayana was scared, she knew going along with this wasn't right, but Greg had seemed so helpless and like he genuinely thought it would be a good idea. She should have went with her conscience, but she was in too deep.

Sighing, she turned to leave. She knew at this point she had no choice, she had to do this. If she didn't she would have to risk losing more than just her best friend, she would risk losing the person she loved the most.

With those final thoughts Ayana left Greg's home and went to the one place that, at this moment, seemed more scaring than not making it to Heaven and falling into Hell.

Tara's apartment.

Xavier's POV

I was leaning against my kitchen counter when the TV, which I turned on for background noise, caught my attention. Standing up straight I headed toward the sofa, plopping down when I noticed Tracey on the screen. ".....Kelsey Jean-Baptist, a former client of mine is the cause to why these rumors have been spread. I assure you the jealousy of this person is just that jealousy. Please reconsider the with drawls of our contracts because of these lies."

I cringed, not only from Tracey's cold and uncaring tone but from the words she spoke. I grit my teeth and clenched my fist, how could someone I cared so much about turn away from me? I think back to when Tracey and I had just left Jimmy's office.

We walked down the hallway in shock, how could it be? There had to be a mistake, but I knew there wasn't. The person behind all this was, Kesley. I mean sure we weren't on good terms right now but I would have thought she'd be able to respect me besides that.

I sighed, the tension leaving my body, in its place was fatigue. I was tired of all this drama and rumors. I wanted my friends back, heck I wanted my old life back. All I ever wanted was a life free of fame and now that I got it, I hate it. My passion is acting, its changing who I am and telling their story. Why in the world did I want to give that up? I want my old life back.

Tracey was fuming, I could tell that she was ready to pop a fuse. Her face was a shade of red,her fist clenched so hard her knuckles were white. She pressed her lips together in a tight line, not saying a word. "Do you think she really did it?" I mutter finally, breaking the tense silence.

Tracey snapped her head in my direction, mouth open in shock. "What do you mean? Of course she did!" She replied, she was trying to keep her voice at bay but I knew she wanted to scream and yell. I flinched, turning away. "Look,Xavier I know that you and her were close but she betrayed you. She tried to ruin your career, remember that." She then turned away and walked down the stairs.

I sighed, as much as I didn't want to believe it, Tracey was right. But something told me that this wasn't all there was...

I frowned, I'm tired of waiting for people to give me the answers I want. It seems like people want to betray you, walk out of your life, or kick you out of theirs; I'm not settling for that anymore it's time that I got what I asked for.Right now, that's answers.

With that thought, I stood up and grabbed my keys, heading to the one place I would get what I wanted.

Tara's apartment.
