Kesley'sPOV

I sighed leaning back against the couch as Tara explained to Xavier and Ayana what they needed to do for our plan. I couldn't help but doubt how well this was going to work out. I mean it was a decent plan, Xavier goes to Greg's house and acts normal then when I show up 'unexpectedly', I rile Greg up and show him what I know. The Xavier pops up and is all accusing and we hope that Greg admits to the whole thing because at that point Ayana will have been showing Tracey a recording of what was happening, making her see that I wasn't guilty.

But that was only if things went according to plan because if not we're going to have to wing it. I groaned, we had no chance this plan was absolutely terrible but sadly it was all we had right now. "Kesley. Hello?" I came back to the real world after hearing my name being called. I turned to my right, where Tara was sitting, and gave her my attention.

"Did you even hear what I said?" She huffed, crossing her arms. I rolled my eyes and just shook my head. "Now I have to explain it again,"She grumbled, before turning back to look at me. "Once Xavier is in Greg's house we're going to listen in on the conversation and Xavier will try to make Greg slip up. Once he does that, you'll knock on the door and...."

I shuffled around nervously in front of the apartment door. "Would you please relax, everything will be fine." Tara tried to calm my racing nerves. It didn't work.

"But what if it won't be?" I said running my hands down my neck, stopping to hold on to it, an act that should how nervous I was."Gosh, T. This is the guy who basically single handedly ruined a career and manipulated us into believing he was innocent in all of it." I was begging to panic, if I hadn't found that journal we would all be in the dark for who knows how long.

Tara rolled her eyes and turned around to face me. "Look you're right.Greg has had the upper hand for so long and he used it to his advantage well, but now we are the ones that know. We have an inside man. Just remember that it can't get worse than it is, stay focused. You can do this, Kels." Tara leaned closer to me and gave my shoulder a hard comforting squeeze. "Now stop pacing you're ruining my carpets." With that being said she turned back to her laptop and ignored me.

Deciding that Tara was right, I followed her back to her computer where she was listening in on both Xavier's and Ayana's conversations.

"So,what should I do? She ruined my career and now she's getting famous for it." I cringed as I heard those words fall from Xavier's mouth. He was talking to Greg about my 'betrayal'. Although me and Xavier were on civil terms, I wasn't sure if we would ever be able to rekindle our friendship. I mean considering all the things Greg has done, he could have also sabotaged our friendship.

"I don't know man, we broke up," I stuttered and coughed on my own spit when I heard that. Tara looked over her shoulder at me with a look of disgust and confusion.

"He knows, Tara. He knows." I told her what had caused me to lose my cool, more so than I already had. Tara still looked confused about what I was trying to tell her. So, I leaned closer and whispered. "The journal T. He knows we have it and I have a feeling he might know a bit more than that too."

Tara sat up straighter in her chair, turning back to her computer. "That means we have to step our game up. Kesley you are going there now,and bring the journal." Tara ordered, she began to type on her phone, to who I presumed was Xavier letting him know I was coming.

I started to freak out. How was I supposed to do this? I was barely over what had happened with Xavier, how was I going to deal with Greg? Trying to calm myself down I took deep breaths. Tara put her phone down and looked back at me. "Okay, look. Xavier is going to wrap up the conversation with Greg and you're going to go in there with the journal and confront him." She stood up and walked to the coffee table and grabbed a spare mic before turning around back to me. "Here,I'm going to tape this to you and you'll get all of what he's saying and use that to contradict what he said to Xavier." She explained, before proceeding to tape it to my chest.

I nodded, not saying anything because I was still trying to calm down. I mean I didn't really leave on a bad note with Greg but I left and never came back.

Oops.

Sighing. I collected myself, I had to this. In order to clear my name I needed to get this over with and fix this problem. "Okay," Tara said, interrupting my frantic thoughts, stepping back. "You are done, now get ready for this because you're going to do that now."

I took one last deep breath before stepping out of the apartment. As I headed towards my car, I couldn't help but wonder how Ayana was doing. She may not be my friend but her role in this plan is really important.

I looked up to the sky and whispered. "Lord help us all."
