Zypher's POV

"Miss Zypher Alvarez. Show us how good you can handle your ability." Well, I shouldn't really be that shocked. This is still a training class after all.

"As much as I'd like to show what I could do with my ability, Ma'am, but I can only show it once anyone here is injured."

Still, I felt obliged to clarify, not just for her, but for everyone. Paninindigan ko na ang pagsisinungaling. Besides, it's a white lie. But a lie, nonetheless. "I'm a healer." I sighed at my own thoughts and with the situation.

For sure there is a huge advantage of me keeping who I am in this place. But I kind of want to really experience being a student here. And being a student in Seandal meant learning how to train with them. To be able to train with others? So I would expand my combat skills and view of dealing with other people with abilities? But look at me now: restrained and basically restricted.

"Alright, Miss Alvarez. In your case, sa next training nalang kita e-a-assess but using the weapon you're comfortable with." I just nodded at Professor Hudson.

I looked over at the royalties when I saw how Zach was looking at me. As soon as I met his eyes, he looked away, looking like he anticipated something from me. What? Akala niya siguro may e-peperform talaga ako ngayon during the activity. He might have not known that I was a healer.

No, he did. Nakita niya kung paano ko ginamot si Diego that first day we fought. So what is he looking at?

That's when I saw Ed walking towards the front, smiling at the cheers he was getting.

"He's an irregular student." Biglang saad ni Mia sa gilid ko. Medyo nasa unahan ko siya, so she stepped back and looked at me. "May instances noon na bumabalik ang royalties sa mga kaharian nila, kaya they miss some classes. And there were a couple months last school year na natagalan sa pagbalik si Prince Ed. Nahabol pa niya ang ilang subjects niya, except this one. Training class.

I was curious, but I didn't want them to notice that.

Mia chuckled beside me.

I vaguely remember him always in our house outside Seandal before. And I always saw him with Ate Gab. I didn't bother myself thinking about why he was always there, but now, I think I was just too pre-occupied to even see the very obvious. He was there for my sister. I wouldn't really have minded, pero may naririnig akong ibang balita tungkol sa nakakatandang prinsipe na ito. That he was 'friendly' with girls. Tsk.

Prince Ed, with still that dashing smile on his face raised both his arms, directing at us. More like his palm directing towards us.

I waited for some water to explode, pero biglang humangin ng malakas sa paligid.

Hmm, the lake is somehow near this place.
