chapter 39 (Threats)

Hey guys! I'm so sorry for the delay. :( I went to a camp kasi, at walang internet dun, kaya yun... Can you still forgive me? *pout*

Anyway, here's a longer update for all of you, enjoy! And oh! I really appreciate all of you commenting and guessing on the previous chapter, keep it up guys!

Zypher's POV

I still can't get over with what had happened a while ago. I can't believe this! Why does she know my real name? Why does she know me? And most importantly, why does she have the same eye color with mine eye?

This is confusing... scary confusing. Alam ba nilang ako ang 21st century goddess? If that's the case, then this is really alarming. Or baka ang alam lang nila ay nagpapanggap akong hindi ako Halmington. Argh! This is really confusing! But I can't let my guard down now. Ngayon pa na nagpaparamdam na sila sa akin, silang mga naka black na cloak. I despise them! I'm itching to kill those bastards right now! But still, I should be patient. Argh! Screw patience!

"Z-zy, o-ok ka l-lang?" Napatingin naman ako sa harap at nakita ko silang tatlo na nakatingin sa akin na parang... natatakot?

Then, I saw blood stains on the table. Napakunot naman ang noo ko, but then I realized it's my own blood. Heck.

Basag na ang wine glass na hawak ko. Punung-puno na ng sarili kong dugo ang kamay ko. Napatingin naman ako sa paligid and I felt relieved when I saw that we are in the farthest part of this restaurant.

Napayuko naman ako agad ng makita ko ang mukha ko sa repleksyon ng salamin dito sa resto. Shoot! Hindi ko na 'ata na control ang emosyon ko kaya naging ganito.

My contact lenses is slowly fading and my real eye color is dominating it. But it's not the usual color of my eye, it's blood red. Ugh! I should control my anger.

"A-ate ko."

"I'm okay, I just need to go to the bathroom."

Tumayo ako agad at nagmadaling pumunta sa banyo. Pagkarating ko sa banyo ay mabuti nalang at walang tao. Inilock ko ito kaagad. Hinugasan ko kaagad ang kamay kong may dugo na halos umabot na sa braso ko. Napatingin naman ako sa salamin at nakita kong naging blood red na ang kulay ng buong mata ko.

So if my emotions are too strong, my real eye color dominates my contact lenses, huh. *sigh* I should really be careful in everything. In controlling my emotions and with the people surrounding me.

Kinuha ko muna ang contact lenses ko at tinitigan ang mga mata ko sa salamin. Sabi ni ate Aria sa akin noon, kapag ganito ang nangyayari sa akin, na nagiging intense ang kulay ng mata ko na nagre-represent sa kulay ng mga elements ay mas lumalakas ang ability ko.

I snapped my fingers, then a fire appeared. Woah! A huge fire appeared, shoot! I immediately turned it off, baka kasi tumunog pa ang alarm dito dahil sa usok at init na madetect. Oh well, that was the first time since last summer that I've tried it, and the fire I produced is much bigger and has a higher temperature than the last time I've tried it. Well, kahit naman na alam ko na ang lahat ng kaya kong gawin, hindi ko pa rin maiwasang mabigla dahil hindi ko pa naman nagagawa ang lahat ng alam kong kaya kong gawin.

I should be careful and stay chill. *sigh*

Napatalikod naman ako bigla, 'cause I feel a presence.

Jill's POV

Matapos naming---- ay! Sina ate Alex at Mia lang pala---- mag shopping, lumakad na kami para kumain. Mabilis naman agad kaming kumilos dahil gutom na gutom na kami. At napansin din namin na nag-iba na naman ang timpla ng mood ng ate ko. Baka nawalan na ng pasensya at gutom na gutom na talaga.
