Coffee

I always went to this small coffee house on the corner. The same person would give me my usual and then I would head to the same spot that was never taken. I sighed opening the door as the smell of coffee beans filled my nose. I walked up to the counter getting out my wallet from my purse.

"The usual Tanner" I said looking up meeting w pair of eyes that didn't belong to Tanner.

"What'll that be miss?" He asked kindly.

"Oh um- a large cup of just black coffee" I smiled.

He was gorgeous. He was tall and his dark brown hair was pushed up into a quiff to the side.

"Okay, can I get your name?" He asked.

I nodded staring into his chocolate orbs.

"Miss?" He asked breaking my stare.

"Sorry uh y/n" I replied shaking my head.

"That's a pretty name for an even prettier girl" he said writing it down ripping it from the pad and handing it to the guy next to him.

I blushed handing him a five dollar bill.

"Keep the change" I smirked.

"Hurry up and stop flirting" the person yelled behind me.

I stood back waiting for my order. I grabbed it taking it back to my seat sliding my body as I looked out the window.

"I'm gonna take my break now" the beautiful barista said jumping over the counter slowly approaching me.

"hey" he smiled.

"Hey, would you like to sit?" I asked nodding to the seat sitting across from me.

"I'm Shawn by the way" he said taking the chair sitting in front of me.

I smiled sipping my coffee. We talked about everything. I couldn't stop staring at that beautiful smile that sat across his face. It made me want him.

"I gotta head back but um- can I get your number?" He chuckled rubbing the back of his head.

"Sure" I giggled as he handed me his phone.

I typed in my name and number and smiled again.

"Maybe next time I can get free coffee" I teased.

He chuckled looking at the floor putting his hands in the pockets on the front of his apron.

"Maybe next time I can give you something a little more then just coffee"
