ONE YEAR LATER
"How was the honeymoon? You look tan" he pointed to Jay's arm, "I'm surprised you two left the room long enough to get a tan" he laughed as he closed the drawer, "It's good to have you back man"
"Thanks" Jay said as he looked over the cases intelligence had picked up in his absence, "seems like it's been pretty quiet, all these seem like a cakewalk"
"Yeah it's been dead" Adam told him, "though I know I shouldn't really complain"
"How's Kim doing?" Jay asked him.
Adam sat on the desk, "good days are starting to out number the bad" he folded his arms, "I miss her smile, it's hard to get one out of her"
"I'm sorry man, how are you doing?"
"Me? I'm alright, she's the one I worry about" he told him, "I'm never really sure what she's thinking and I'm sure Erin's told you she refuses to talk about it"
"She mentioned it, she wishes she could help her"
"So do I Jay, so do I" Adam said wistfully.

My life is still a bit hectic but I realize this helps with some of the chaos, so expect another update this weekend and it will provide some answers for you.
