Chapter 30- Christmas Shopping

I'm really sorry! I meant to post this much earlier, but I had homework, and then it was my birthday, and I didn't have time!

Chapter 30

“I thought you said that Fred is just a friend?”

I looked up at Ginny and shrugged,

“What do you mean?”

She sat down next to me on my bed and nudged me,

“You know what I’m talking about.”

I laughed,

“I honestly don’t know what you’re saying.”

She sighed exasperatedly,

“I saw you two kiss last night.”

My cheeks flushed red,

“I thought you and Hermione were asleep!”

Ginny giggled,

“Hermione was. I pretended to be asleep, but I saw that kiss!”

I looked at the floor, feeling embarrassed. Yesterday I’d told Ginny that I wasn’t sure where I was with Fred. Now she seemed to think we were going out!

I stood up and pulled my hair into a ponytail,

“Come on, Ginny. We have some shopping to do.”

I looked over at Hermione,

“Are you sure you don’t want to come to Diagon Alley with us?”

She looked up from her book,

“No thanks Ava. I’m already bought everyone’s Christmas presents.”

I chuckled,

“That’s very organised of you.”
Ginny smiled,

“That’s Hermione. Now come on, Mad-Eye is going to make sure that we get there safely. The Floo Network can be a bit risky, so Mum said we need him with us on the journey.”

I waved at Hermione before skipping down the stairs. Fred was standing by the kitchen door. I grinned,

“What’s up, Freddo?”
