Chapter 36- Acting Strangely

Sorry guys! I haven't updated for a while because I was on holiday! This chapter is a bit short, but I hope you enjoy it! I plan to write more regularly now!

 

Chapter 36

Harry was walking down the corridor, head down and deep in thought. I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards me,

“We need to talk.”

He smiled, but I could see he was tired and worried. He cleared his throat,

“What about?”

I waited until there weren’t that many people left in the corridor, before muttering,

“We need to be more secretive about the DA. Draco knows something is going on and he wants to know what it is. So be as secretive as possible and don’t look suspicious. Act normal.”

He nodded,

“Okay. Thanks for letting me know.”

I grinned,
“No problem, little brother.”
I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him silently. I could tell he was going through a really hard time, and he needed all of the support he could get.

Our brother and sister moment was ruined by someone clearing their throat beside me.

We pulled apart and I glanced at Eleanor. She’d caught us red-handed. Had she heard any of our conversation?

I whispered to Harry,

“I’ll talk to you later.”

He nodded and walked off quickly, his hands in his pockets.

Eleanor shook her head,

“You really shouldn’t be doing that.”
I frowned,

“What? Talking to my brother? I think I have a right-”

She interrupted,
“No. I mean talking to him where everyone can see you. If another Slytherin saw you, they’d go straight to Draco.”

I raised an eyebrow,

“You could still go to Draco. I can imagine you’re going to, anyway, seeing as you tell him everything I do.”
She looked around to see if anyone was coming, then mumbled,

“I’m not going to tell Draco.”

I was surprised.

“What? Why?”

She shook her head,
