Dark days

Sofia's POV

Its been six months since I've had Roman and he's the light of my life. Addison who's now nine months pregnant decided she's going to keep her baby girl because the baby is innocent. She said to me that she can't give up someone who's part her just because some sick person drugged and raped her. The decision to keep her baby resulted in her boyfriend breaking up with her but I've never seen addison so happy before. We were all happy. Life has been good for our little dysfunctional family like Callen calls it. I was out with all of my sisters for our usual walk when it was around ten at night and we were headed back our car when Emma remembered leaving her purse in the pizza place we were just in so she went in with kylar to get it while addison and I sat outside. I stepped away to make a phone call when a man in va black hoodie approached addison and started pulling on her purse so I went over to stop him. He pulled out a handgun and suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and fell to the ground. All I remember hearing was Addison's screams and I saw Emma rush to her while skylar shot the man who attempted to flee and ran over to me. I tried keeping my eyes open for as long as I could but everything soon went dark

Skylar's POV

After shooting the guy to the chest the paramedics arrived shortly after and the first set took sofia away while the other ones stood over an unconscious addison and stopped working so I went over and said "why are you not helping her?  Help my sister"

Paramedic: I am so sorry for your loss

No! You have to help her, she's going to be ok you just have to help her

Paramedic: I'm sorry ma'am, there's nothing more we can do

So after our parents arrived on scene and amber stopped them from zipping addison up in a body bag and held her then she laid her head on Addison's stomach

Amber: get those paramedics back over here. This baby is still alive

The paramedics rushed over and started CPR, they loaded her into the back of the ambulance and rushed her to the hospital in hopes of saving her unborn child while Emma and I sat there silent with tears in our eyes and it felt like the world stopped

Deeks: girls come on. We need to get to the hospital, you can't sit here all night

Emma: would you just leave us alone? If we wanted your opinion we would have asked and we didn't

Deeks: I'm only trying to help here

Emma: unless your planning on bringing our sister back we don't need your help. Go away!

Deeks: ok

Dad left and we sat there with tears pouring down. Everyone left out to go to the hospital but kensi sat there holding us. We just couldn't stop crying and she cried with us. After about four hours it was now around two in the morning and we joined everyone at the hospital. My mom held aunt amber who looked so broken and the doctor walked in and said "it's a girl, she had a girl" that only made aunt amber cry even more So I took the baby who looks just like her mom and obviously the person who assaulted addison was African american because the baby was a light skinned little girl not white with curly black hair and big green eyes"

Amber: what happened to the man who killed my baby?

Doctor O'Mally: his shooter shot to kill. He got two bullets to the chest and died on scene. The paramedics brought him here dead and I really didn't think I'd be seeing Sofia back here so soon. He had a small caliber weapon so her wound is not life threatening, she's in recovery and asking for her sister. I didn't think it was my place to tell her such news

Amber: by all means tell her. I honestly can't deal with any of this. Where's my baby?

Doctor O'Mally: she's down in the hospital morgue
