Here's a summary:
Luke's dad is a preacher and his mum is just a trophy wife. They pretend as though they're one big happy family that gets along when in truth, they can't stand to be in the same room all at once.
His brother dropped out of college and his sister is involved with some gang and Luke likes to think he's the normal one, but he happens to like it up the arse.
Out of all the things his parents could complain about, they choose to pick on Luke about his sexuality.
So when punk rock and total bad aśs musician Michael Clifford starts to take an interest in him, Luke is completely smitten.
