Luke could not remember the last time he cried so much. It was probably hen he was ten and his mum cancelled their trip to Disney World because he didn't clean his room. (Real story)

But the pain then did not compare to anything he felt now. In fact, Luke thought he couldn't feel anything, it was like he was numb.

He couldn't believe he screwed up so badly. He had no chance with Ashton, he could have come to terms with that and even move on, but Calum was his best friend and practically his only friend and now he doesn't even have him anymore.

Luke knew if he dated Ashton maybe Calum won't be his friend anymore but Luke didn't think that he would be forced away from Calum like this.

He felt so lonely in second period which was math where he would always help Calum with the equations he never understood.

But Calum wasn't here. He did not even show up for first period and Luke didn't know if it was because of his parents or if he choose not to come.

Surely Calum won't just stop being friends with Luke right?

They've invested 16 years together surely Calum won't just give up.

But Luke wasn't too sure anymore. He felt like he should blame Calum because he snuck out and kept coming to Luke but Luke really blames himself, maybe if he never said anything to Ashton, he won't have reacted that way and banned him from seeing Calum.

Ashton figured something out.

He liked Luke.

No jut like as in 'yeah you're cool' like but more or a 'I get fûcking butterflies when I see you smile' kind of like.

He didn't know how it happened or when but he woke up with one thought, that he liked Luke.

So maybe he did know when it happened, in fact since Luke told him he liked him Ashton has been thinking about the blue eyed gem a lot. He really was a gem, he was soft and cute with milk like skin that seemed like porcelain  from afar and bright twinkling eyes that light up the sky in an instant when he sees Ashton.

These thought scared Ashton to no extent but he learnt to stop ignoring his feelings and accept them.

There is nothing wrong with being gay or bisexual. Sure it was a bit freaky at first to jerk off to the thought of Luke but eventually that alien feeling faded into like.

And seeing Luke hold another man's hand and look at him like he was his world made this fire spread through Ashton where he wanted Luke, he needed Luke.

And he would have Luke.

It was seven  pm in the Irwin household. Most of the kids home, watching television or in their room completing homework.

Charlie was doing the dishes while Ashton packed the food away.

"You know, we have an older son," Ashton said

"I'm aware," Charlie said

"Then where is he?" Ashton asked confused. Calum is supposed to be home by now. Detention doesn't keep him that long and he always came home, ate dinner and then left to visit his mystery date.
