"I love you," Ashton said as he kissed Luke with such passion

"I love you," Luke replied

"I love you," Ashton repeated. Since last night they couldn't get enough of each other. Hands were always touching and lips always meeting but mouths always speaking of their love.

"I don't think you love me as much as I love you," Luke teased as he kissed down Ashton's neck.

They were in the kitchen, Ashton was due for work in two hours but the two decided to get up early to have a nice breakfast together. They were in the honeymoon phase of their newfound lovely relationship.

The idea of pancakes and maple syrup was soon forgotten as try both stumbled out of the bedroom together holding hands and Luke's aśs looking extra perky in his right boxers.

"God, I love you," Luke möaned as Ashton left a big love bite where his collar bone and neck met, the place where he was most sensitive.

Ashton hummed in reply as he continued sucking bruises onto his gem's skin changing it to a pretty purple colour.

"Make love to me," Luke whispered into Ashton's ear before roughly biting his earlobe.

"God that's my favorite thing to do," Ashton said as he put Luke on the kitchen counter.

He was about his get his boxers off when a gasp resounded throughout the apartment.

Luke and Ashton broke away wide eyed and mirroring each other's facial expression of horror.

It didn't look good, Luke's hands were tangled into Ashton's honey brown hair while Ashton's were dipping into the material covering Luke's bits. Both their lips were swollen and there were left over hickies on both Ashton an Luke expect Luke how had fresh red ones.

They both rapidly retracted their hands from each other almost like they were suddenly repulsed by touching one another and came face to face with their intruder.

Ashton felt his heart drop as he stood in front  of  his daughter Jennifer in nothing but boxers and love bites.

He was covered but he never felt so exposed in his life before.

Luke gulped awkwardly when seeing who is was. He was there when Jennifer was born, holding Calum's hand as he became a big brother for the first time. He was there when Jennifer fell from the top of the stairs and had to get eleven stitches for the place where she hit her head on the ground, the impact causing her to bleed. He was there when he and Calum babysat her for the first time and freaked when she starting crying and won't stop. He was there when she started preschool, walking her to the door with Calum and checking on her during lunch. He was there when she started dating national spelling bee champion and he was there when he broke her heart.

Luke knew Jennifer like his sister. Luke has never seen a family member look at him as betrayed as Jennifer is looking at him now.

Luke feels embarrassed and ashamed that she caught him like this.

Ashton couldn't even begin to formulate how to felt. But it was definitely horror.

"Jennifer-" he started but didn't get to finish as her sharp voice cut him.

"I hate you," she said

"You don't mean that," Ashton replied with a sinking heart. His child hates him. His child hates him. His child hates him.

"I do. I can't believe you'd do this to mum. I came her trying to convince to call off the divorce but I see you've already moved on," she cried

"Jenny baby girl, it's not what it looks like," Ashton said gently

"No it is exactly what it looks like. You've been cheating on mum, with Luke of all people," she spat and Luke flinched at her hateful tone.

"Did you even love mum? Or was it all a lie?" She asked

"I love her Jennifer and I always will. She's the woman I married and had children with, we'd always have some sort of connection but we grew apart. We've both better off then we are together," Ashton pleaded hoping she's understand. He glanced back at his gem to see his expression but he was looking blankly at the wall with a frown on his face.

"That's not true. She cried herself to sleep last night but you don't care.  You're here fücking your son's best friend," she said angrily.

"It's not easy for any of us Jen but you have to understand it was for the best. I love someone else and she's gonna find someone who loves her too. All we did was fight and yell, we put you and your sister and brothers first, that wasn't the kind of environment we wanted you to grow up in," Ashton said

"Luke? I can't believe you'd do this to me," she mumbled hurt. Luke looked at her in actual physical pain. He hated disappointing someone, and whatever he ate yesterday wants to make a reappearance.

"I can't say I'm totally sorry Jenny. I love your dad but I am sorry that it had to be like this. I know what it's like to have fighting parents and your dad is doing this to protect you. Trust me, that's not the kind of thing you want to witness," Luke said hopping off the counter and coming to stand beside Ashton while fiddling with his lip ring nervously.

"I trusted you Luke. You were a brother to me and I can't trust you know, either of you. You lied, both of you and you let this happen," Jennifer said sadly before walking out of the apartment and slamming the door shut.

Both Ashton and Luke flinched before Luke sighed and Ashton groaned running his fingers through his hair frustratedly.

"Damnit!" Ashton screamed while kicking the dining table.

Tears pooled in his eyes but he refused to cry. She was right. This was his fault, all his fault and he let it happen. He did this to her.

"It's gonna be okay," Luke whispered coming for a hug.

"It won't be. She hates us Luke. She hates me, I'm her father and I lover her so fücking much but she hates me," Ashton cried onto Luke's shoulder.

"We'd be fine my dream. Everything will work out. She's hurt but she'd realize that you're her dad and she loves you. She may not forgive you easily, but she loves you," Luke said

"I just don't want it to turn out like with your dad. You hate him," Ashton sniffled and Luke tensed at the mention of his father.

"He abused us Ashton. He abused alcohol, my mother and me. He would yell at her and threaten to hit me. You didn't do that nor will you ever. She won't turn out like me ," Luke said but he hated talking about his father.

"Promise me that don't matter what, you and I will always find a way back to each other. I love you Luke. I didn't think that I would but I do, promise me that you'll be mine forever," Ashton pleaded looking into Luke's ice blue orbs.

"I'd never leave you Ash. I promise I'll be yours forever if you promise to be mine for eternity," Luke said kissing his dream on the cheek.

"I promise," Ashton spoke honestly.

"I promise as well," Luke smiled.
