They laid tangled together on Ashton's couch, Luke safely wrapped up in Ashton's arms as his dream played the big spoon as they watched some late night talk show.

Luke giggled at the joke the host made scrunching up his nose in the most adorable way, Ashton couldn't help it when he placed a sweet kiss on the cheek on his cute boy causing his gem to giggle a bit more.

Ashton smiled to himself as he let Luke's warmth and happiness take over him.

"I like this show," Luke remarked.

"I've never seen it before," Ashton replied.

"Me either but he's good, the host I mean. He's funny," Luke said and Ashton hummed in reply focusing on the screen.

"But let's talk about serious stuff now," the host said.

"Y'all seen that Facebook video, hell I know you've seen it, we all live on Facebook," the man said making the studio audience laugh.

"Anyway it's about this grown ass man Ashton Irwin-" the host started off but the audience interrupted him to boo.

"Yeah he's sick, I know. Having sex with someone half his age, can you believe it?" The host exclaimed as Ashton tensed and Luke struggled to turn off the tv.

When he finally did he sat up causing Ashton to sit up with a pout.

"I was enjoying our cuddle," Ashton complained.

"You can't just ignore it," Luke said softly.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Ashton said quietly refusing to meet Luke's eyes.

"Everyone's calling you a freak or sick and it's all my fault," Luke whispered wrapping his arms around his dream once more.

"It's not. It's Jenny's fault. I don't blame you and you shouldn't blame yourself. I love you " Ashton said.

"But you're not sick or a freak. It was consensual and you know that. I wish they knew that," Luke pouted.

"Don't worry my gem. It doesn't bother me," Ashton lied hoping Luke won't catch on but of course his gem did but thankfully he said nothing. He just pulled Ashton in for a kiss.

"I have a few questions for Luke your honor," Luke's family lawyer said gesturing for Luke to take the stand when the judge nodded her approval.

After swearing to tell nothing but the truth, Luke sat down.

"Luke is it true that you had sexual relations with Ashton Irwin?" The lawyer asked.

Luke looked the direction of Ashton who nodded reassuringly to his gem.

"Yes."

"Did you ever regret it?" The lawyer asked.

"Never. Whenever Ashton and I had sex, it was consensual never forced or made me regretful," Luke said.

"So you'd never say Mr. Irwin forced himself on to you?"

"Absolutely not. Like I said I wanted to have sex as much as Ashton did. We are in a relationship," Luke said glancing at Ashton who gave him a reassuring smile.

"So you believe that Mr. Irwin should not be sentenced today?"

"Yes. He did nothing wrong. All he did was record us having sêx that one night and if you watched it, I never resisted anything he did to me," Luke said confidently.

"Thank you Luke Hemmings," the judge said dismissing him from the stand.

Luke's lawyer now called on Ashton.

"Mr. Irwin, Luke is half your age, the same age might I add, as your son. Why enter into a relationship with him?"

"Because I love him. Luke and I are in a relationship because we care for each other and because we love each other. Like he said, it's all consensual," Ashton said

"So you don't regret having sex with Luke?"

"No. I don't and I never will. I don't even regret making a sex tape," Ashton snorted but regretted his words after seeing the appalled look Luke gave him from where he sat next to his mother who doesn't look very happy with Ashton's answer either.

"Okay that came out wrong. What I mean is I love Luke and I'd never hurt him. I never forced himself on him or made him feel uncomfortable in any way. He's my gem, that's what I call him because he's special and precious just like a gem. He's one of a kind and I'm happy to have him. So damn happy," Ashton said tearing up a little while keeping his eyes locked with Luke during his every word.

"Please give the jury 20 minutes to decide if Ashton Irwin is guilty or not."

Ashton exited from the stand and was immediately embraced by Luke.

"That was so beautiful," Luke whispered into his ear.

"It's true. I love you my gem. Forever and always," Aston replied.

"It was sweet," Calum said coming and giving his dad a hug too.

"Thank you Calum," Ashton said

"I don't think you're a freak. I love you," Calum said hugging his dad a little tighter before letting go.

"Let's go sit," Luke said leading them out of the court room where they were centre of attention.

"Luke wait!" Luke's father called just as they were about to exit the room.

"Proud of you for holding your own out there," his dad said

"Thanks," Luke said awkwardly.

"And thank you Ashton for taking care of Luke," Andrew said before walking away.

"Weird," Luke said.

I could give you the verdict in this chapter but why would I do that when you love cliffhangers?

Guys idk if you know but I wrote exams back in May and I just heard that results is coming oUT TONIGHT!!!!?!!?!?

Currently freaking the fuck out and then tomorrow's my birthday so like best. birthday. gift.  ever.
