Piper's Point of View

Yes, I have my own helmet na lagi niyang dala kahit saan siya magpunta. I don't know why he always brings it with him. It's not like we're seeing each other every day. Besides, it's been a year and a month since we broke up pero hindi pa rin niya tinatanggal 'yung helmet ko. It's like it still belongs to the both of us. It's like there's still an 'us.'

But I must admit... him, bringing the helmet wherever he goes made me happy.

I checked my wristwatch. Quarter to 8 palang.

I asked.

"Nagugutom na kasi ako. Gusto ko muna kumain. Ikaw, hindi ka pa ba gutom?"

Honestly, I'm not that hungry. "We're at the mall, Hunter. Bakit hindi na lang tayo dito kumain?"

"Nakakasawa na kasi mga kainan dito."

"Whatever you say.

I feel so free.

We were first year nang mabili niya ang motor na 'to. He bought it with his own money. I really admire him for that.

Hindi lang siya umuuwi because of his stepdad.

I met his stepdad a few times already. He seems a nice person. I can't blame him for that.

As for his real father, who knows where he is.

"Patingin," he said habang kumakain kami.

"What?"

"'Yung pictures natin. Patingin."

I took it out from my bag and gave it to him. He stopped eating and stared at the photo. He even smiled while staring at it.

"Cute mo dito," he said and points at the third picture. I made face when I realized that it was the picture where he's pinching my cheeks. He laughed at my reaction. "Seryoso. Cute nga."

"Ewan ko sa 'yo."

"Akin na lang 'to."

"Nope. Akin 'yan. Pandagdag 'yan sa collections ko ng pictures."

"Share tayo."

Okay. I guess that will do kaya pumayag ako.
