*Jack's POV*

I tapped my watch in frustration as my stomach become to growl at me. Zack left exactly an hour and a half ago, and it was beginning to get dark. I heard Alex huff as he slumped of to bed, to tired to wait for food. Rian yawned and stretched his arms out, but didn't budge from his seat. I was beginning to worry, it wasn't like Rian to sit still for more than five minutes, he hadn't peed in like, two hours. The whole peeing thing is probably irrelevant but a mans gotta go when a man's gotta go.

"I saw Cassidy today, she didn't look to good.. ya must've done her hard last night" I said with a wink and was surprised to see Rian's face shift into an emotion I couldn't decifer.

"That's funny Jack" He said blankly, normally he could blush and get all aggressive... maybe he was just hungry...

"Aha I know right, careful there Rian, you better use protection or we might have little Ri-"

"SHUT UP ZACK!" He yelled. It was so loud I could hear my eardrums bursting and the sound of the ground rumbling under the pressure. He said there, breathing heavily with his hands, hiding his face.

"We broke up, okay!? She left me..." He whispered in a defeated tone. There was a long silence and I felt a slow, uneasy feeling rise in my chest. The dead air lingered, making it feel as though a melancholy ghost had entered the room.

"Ri... I'm so sorry... I didn-"

"No... I'm sorry, I should have told you... It's not your fault..." He lifted his head to look at me reassuringly.

"Would it bother you if I asked you what happened?" I asked in a slow whisper.

"You'll have to know about someday.... We were so happy" A shadow of a smile appeared across his lips.

"I was heading to her house... we were going to hang out- but she started yelling...crying" His brow furrowed and I moved to the seat next to him and patted his tense shoulder.

"She..she- told me that she couldn't do this to me... do what? and that I have to leave... I have to..." His voice was overcome with sadness as a tear rolled down his cheek.

"Hey buddy....It's gonna be okay..." I soothed his sobs.

"Nothing's okay right now...nothing" he whimpered, crying into his hands.

"Sssshhh...hold on there buddy...hold on" I whispered, rubbing his back comfortingly. The strongest, bravest person I knew was falling apart in front of me... and there was nothing I could do to fix him.
