Movie Summary:

In the future the world was over run by demon vampires, and many human lives were lost. Groups of priests came together to fight against the vampires until it was confirmed that the main hives and queens were killed. At last the priests were disbanded and went on to live with their lives, in towns with high walls to keep any remaining vampires out.

A priest in one of the biggest walled cities has re accruing dreams of when he lost a friend in a battle in the biggest colony of vampires. He isn’t happy with his current life, and when Hicks a sheriff from the wastelands comes to tell the priest that his brother is dying from a vampire attack, his sister in law is dead, and his niece is missing, the priest confronts the leaders of the city to leave. They say no and say if he leaves he is disobeying the church and God. Priest leaves anyway to the wastelands with Hicks.

Priest goes to a small town with familiars, a human infected with the bite of a vampire. They are all savages and Priest and Hicks kill them all, and a group of vampires. They get information that the group that has Lucy, Priest’s niece has headed to the large colony where Priest lost his friend.

At the colony Priest is confronted by another female Priest that was sent to capture and kill him by the cities leader, she however doesn’t and helps him fight a guard vampire. They succeed and head to another small town that was wiped out by the vampires. In the town they find three dead Priests hanging from crosses, and they know that this was no normal vampire doing it. Hicks then confronts Priest and asks if he’ll kill Lucy, his girlfriend if she is infected. Priest says he will, Hicks furious threatens to kill him, and says Priest doesn’t love Lucy. Priest then admits to Hicks that Lucy is his daughter but since he was a priest he had to give her to his brother.

They discover that the vampires are on their way to the city where Priest is from and plan to attack. Priest, and the other two plan to beat the train, and blow it up, saving Lucy first. Hicks and Priest jump on the train and the other Priest drives up ahead to set up a bomb. Priest discovers that the man behind it all was his friend he lost in the colony. His old friend says the queen vampire spared him and turned him into the first human vampire. He tells Priest that if he joins him he will let Lucy live, if not then he will kill her. The two fight, the old friend wining, Priest falls off the top of the train and hides under the train. He is able to get into the room Lucy is in, but the human vampire comes in and tries to kill Priest, Hicks falls off the train and tries to catch up. The human vampire pins Priest against the wall stabbed with a knife. Meanwhile the female Priest rides her bike into the train with the bombs and jumps off last minute, as does Priest who woke up and Lucy.

Priest and Lucy reunite and smile at each other, Hicks hugs Lucy, and Priest with the other female Priest. With the train stopped and all the vampires inside dead, Priest goes back to the city and tells them the war is just beginning since the queen wasn’t in the train. THE END!!

My Review:

This was a pretty good movie. I found some of the movie to be a bit boring at times, not very impressing at points but it did improve. I really liked the vampires, they were original and creepy. They could beat up the Cullen’s that’s for sure. I assumed they couldn’t see since they had no eyes, but I could be wrong. These vampires were almost alien like, with bluish skin, long arms, claws, and huge sharp teeth. Also I liked the Priests, although the make-up was only a cross on their forehead, it looked really good, and even felt creepy.

What I also liked about this movie was the infected humans, they were also very creepy, with black teeth, no hair, and creepy black eyes. They seemed more like vampires then the actual vampires in this movie. Another thing is the fighting scenes. They were cool, but some of them seemed a bit cheesy. Still a good movie.

Ok, so check this movie out if it sounds interesting. I thought it was a pretty good movie. Defiantly recommend it if your looking for a new type of vampire kind of movie. This movie is defiantly not a hot romance vampire movie. Last word I HATE LILY COLLINS!!! She needs to wax her ugly eye brows!!!!
