Movie Summary:

A teenage girl, Alex films her younger brother's soccer game, the family is happy and have a picnic, but it seems her parents aren't getting along. At Alex's house she shows her boyfriend Ben the treehouse in the garden. Here they discover Robbie, the new neighbours creepy kid. Alex is confused why he is here and takes him back to his own house across the road.

Early next morning Alex hears an ambulance at their new neighbours house. The next day Robbie turns up at their house after her mom offered to look after Robbie since his mother is in the hospital. Later on that day Alex findsWyatt and Robbie in her treehouse talking to Robbie's invisible friend (TOBY). In the evening Wyatt is playing a multi-player game on the Kinect by himself with Robbie just siting on the sofa. Ben (the boyfriend who practically lives at Alex's house) asks who Wyatt is playing with and Robbie says he's playing with his friend. When Alex arrives Ben turns off the light and shows Wyatt through the camera the infra-red tracking dots on the Kinect. As Alex, Ben and Wyatt dance around the camera picks up a human form moving next to Robbie on the sofa by the dots moving.

The next day Ben shows Alex that his computer automtically records their webcam chats and in the middle of the night while Alex slept Robbie came in and slept next to her. Ben suggests that he can set up laptops around the house to record everything. He does this and then the movie goes into the infamous 'night 1', and 'night 2' and time mode.

Over the next couple of days strange things happen around the house. Robbie waking up in the middle of the night to talk to the wall above the T.V, and Robbie and Wyatt chasing a black silouhette of a child at night. During the day Robbie draws a strange symbol on Wyatt's back. (Triangle with a circle in the middle, cult from the Paranormal Activity 3). When alone in the house Ales hears strange noise and follows them to the hallway where the chandelier falls down to the floor. Later, her father blames the light fitters for the accident, but Alex is suspicious of Robbie.

The next day Alex catches Robbie and Wyatt running acrossing the road to Robbie's house. Alex finds them and Katie, Robbies mom (Katie from the first three movies) who is actually home. After Alex takes Wyatt back home he tells her that Katie told him he was adopted, like Robbie. Alex questions her parents about Wyatt's real parents but her parents refuse to say anything.

Later on Wyatt is talking to the invisible friend, we only hear Wyatt's response and he says 'my name isn't Hunter' for it appears Toby the demon/ghost/friend is insisting his name is Hunter. (Hunter as in baby Hunter from Paranormal Activity 2). Later on he insists his name is Hunter. A few times later Katie sneaks into the house to talk to Hunter, telling him she'll be with him until he's 'ready.'

The next day when Alex's mom is downstairs alone in the home, she starts to hear strange noises and then Katie appears in the house and heads upstairs. When Alex's mom comes back into the living room, an unseen entity picks her up and drops her from high up, killing her. Katie comes back down and drags the body off the screen. Later when Ben arives to the empty home he views the videos in Alex's bedroom. Katie comes in and snaps poor Ben's neck and throws him in Alex's closet. Katie finds Wyatt and tells him he is Hunter.

Alex and her father arrive back home and he thinks he saw the mom and Wyatt going over to Katie's house. As he goes to explore Alex goes home to find Ben's body. She runs over to Katie's house to warn her dad, who she sees being pulled around the house by a invisible entity. Alex goes into a bedroom looking for her dad but when she turns, Katie appears and storms forward screaming demonically. Alex climbs out a newspaper covered window to find Wyatt standing on the outside. Just as she is about to run away with Wyatt, a whole bunch of pale, creepy people, with all black eyes (that is explained in Paranormal Activity: The Marked One's) pop up and as Alex turns to run Katie attacks her and the camera cuts out. Another Paranormal Activity crappy ending!! THE END!!!!!

Movie Review:

Okay, what should I say about the fourth movie in the Paranormal Activity saga? Pure garbage. This was by far the worst of all the movies. But yet I was excited to watch it, I just love all of these movies because they are so funny! But I must say the third movie was the best out of them all. What I really hate about this movie is that all the pathetic action takes place five minutes to the credits the whole begining is a waste of time. I missed a few things in the summary though, like when the knife gets stuck to the ceiling by Toby the ghost and then later falls, and when Wyatt is taking a bath and gets pulled under for a good while but then is all ok later.

So this was a bust, I watched it awhile ago but now writing a summary I understand better the whole weird eyed people thing. I just watched Paranormal Activty: The Marked One's in theatres a few days ago with a friend, SPOILER -> and it cleared up a lot of questions I had in this movie and actually ends in the Paranormal Activity 1 house. I'll write a review on that movie later, for I have a very long list of movie I've already seen I need to write.

Recomend this movie? Not really, sure if you're addicted to this series like I am you need to watch it, lol, but I warn you , do not go watch the new one in theatres! Not worthe, go watch Devil's Due instead. I should have done THAT and watched the Paranormal movie online. Oh well, what's done is done. Can anyone make me a time machine?
