Movie Summary:

            Aliens from the planet Lorien have been sent to Earth to flee the destruction of their home by the Mogadorians. Eight special children and their guardians are to be kept safe on Earth to later help save the world. The Mogadorians know where they've gone and go to Earth as creepy tall bald guys with scary teeth and weird nostrils. They want the eight dead but to kill them they need to do so in order from number 1, number 2, number 3 and so on. The three are killed and John Smith is number 4.

           Somewhere in Miami, or California Daniel and his protector Henry live in a beach house by the ocean. Daniel is a fun popular guy with girls, and lots of friends. One night when on the beach, a third scar on his leg appears and burns. He knows number three is dead and that they are after him. Daniel and Henry move to Paradise Ohio and changes his name to John Smith. He explains how he left his planet at a young age to escape these evil guys who's name I cant remember. The two start fresh in Paradise, and John’s little lizard follows him and turns into a dog. John doesn’t know of the transformation. John goes to school where he meets Sam, Sarah, and Sarah’s ex boyfriend. Immediately John becomes a target for The football guys to pick on along with Sam, but John becomes friends with the geeky Sam who has lost his dad from an alien abduction. John also falls for the armature photographer Sarah.

          One day at school John’s hands burst into this blinding light. Dazed and confussed he hides in a closet until Henry helps him out. Henry explains to John that the numbers have legacys and that they will slowly develop, along with his other super human powers. John trains and enjoys the company of his dog Bernie Kosar. Meanwhile Sarah and John get closer.

            Comes the spring festival and Sara invites John to accompany her, so he goes. On a haunted corn maze Sarah's ex and his buddies captures the two whom they believe are a couple and attempt to beat John up. John however does not tolerate this and uses his powers to beat up the buddies and save Sarah from her ex. Sam sees the powers and confronts John, John tells him the truth about his origins. Shortly after the ex's father questions Henri about John's whereabouts when the boys were assaulted and notices Henri's hi tech surveillance system.

              Henri later tells John they must move again because too many people are becoming suspiscious of them. John says he can't though because he loves Sarah.

              Meanwhile the Mogadorians start searching for John, but another alien, Number 6 decides to go after the Mogadorians after the death of her guardian. The Mogadorians eventually locate John and manipulate two conspiracy theorists into capturing Henri. When John and Sam go to rescue him, they are attacked by the Mogadorians but fend them off. Henri however is wounded badly and dies after they escape with Lorien artifacts by a train track. John is upset and holds him as he dies.

              One of the artifacts found was a blue rock that acts as a tracking device to locate other Loriens. Sam's dead father a conspiracy theorist disapeard while hunting aliens in Mexico had another. While Sam searches for it John tries to say goodbye to Sarah at a party but discovers that the   framed him and Henri for the murders of the conspiracy theorists, as well as being terrorists. Sarah's ex sees John and calls his sheriff father. They have him cornered on the roof with Sarah where she falls off but he saves her. He also crashes the cop cars and now everyone knows of his sick powers. John and Sarah escape to their high school.

              Meanwhile the commander of the Mogadorians arrives and Sarah's ex leads him to where they are hiding.

              Back at the high school John, Sarah and Sam are attacked by the Mogadorians and their huge beast. The three are saved by Number 6 with her invisibility power, and Bernie Kosar the dog, for he is really a beast shapeshifter John's parents sent to protect him. Number 6 and John fight off the Mogadorians till they are all dead.

              The following day John, Number 6 (who's name she goes by is Jane Doe), Sam , and Bernie Kosar in the shape of the beagle meet with Sarah and her ex. John and Jane unite their blue rocks and discover the location of the other four surving Loriens. They set off to find them so together (for they are stronger together) they can protect Earth from the other Mogadorians. John has to leave Sarah, he says goodbye but promises he'll come back to her. THE END!!!!

Movie Review:

              I really enjoyed this movie! Loved it, I watched it online and just fell in love with it. I first read the book and was pleased that the movie followed the book pretty good. SO that was a bonus in the movie.

          I also loved this movie because ALEX PETTYFER was in it!! From my previous movies you can tell I love him. I also love Dianna Agron, she is so pretty, and I love her from GLEE and the two together as a couple in real life was so cute! They were the perfect couple, why the hell would she break up with him!?

          Anyways back to the movie, the action parts were fun, Alex Pettyfer was just so good! I loved his little sidekick. Their relationship reminded me allot of Scott and Stiles in TEEN WOLF.

          I will beg you to watch this movie because I don't think it did very good and I had so badly hoped for a part 2. But I guess not. Great movie loved it!
