Movie Summary:

          Sometime in the future everyone can live forever. They all stop at the age of twenty five but a clock counts down the rest of their lives on their arms. The rich can live forever but the poor time out and die on the streets. Money is history and to buy the things you need and want you must pay for it in seconds, minutes, hours, days, years and decades from your life. And for the poor seconds can be valuable parts of their lives. This is the case for twenty eight year old Will who is now frozen at twenty five.

          It’s the morning of his mom’s fiftieth birthday and she gives him half an hour of her three day life clock. Will only has a few hours. Will goes off to work but before buys a coffee for four minutes. After work Will is paid less than usual in hours since he didn’t meet his quote for the day. Later that night Will goes to a bar where his buddy hangs out. His friend is constantly wasting his time on booze. However that one night a man who can literally live forever with hundreds and hundreds of years on his life watch is buying drinks for everyone in the bar. Will warns the rich man to leave the bar before minute men arrive. As if on cue a group of minute men arrive and everyone takes off. The rich man is faced with Fortis (Alex Pettyfer!!! <3) The rich man does not want to fight for the years he has, since he knows that Fortis will take his life. Will helps the rich man escape and hides away in an abandoned building. There he finds out from the man that the government is pricing everything in bad time zones higher so people time out. They can’t have everyone live forever. Will knows the rich man is from a high time zone where everyone has hundreds of years to spare.

          That night while the two sleep there the rich man wakes and gives Will all his years leaving himself only minutes. By the time Will wakes up the man is gone and when he finds him he has already timed out and fallen from a bridge. Upset over the man’s death but happy for his now long life he heads home to his friend’s house. His mom is still working since yesterday. He gives his buddy ten years. But when Will leaves his friend runs over to a bar leaving his wife and newborn baby at home.

           Meanwhile Will’s mom is trying to catch a bus to meet Will at the next bus stop. Unfortunately the bus prices have gone up to two hours. Will’s mom only has two hours left of her life and can’t afford it, but the walk to the bus stop is two hours. She begins to run. Will waits at the bus stop with flowers for his mom and can’t wait to share the big news with her. When the bus arrives and his mom isn’t on it he knows something is wrong and stars running to meet his mom halfway. By the time she is in sight she has only seconds left the two try to run to each other but by the time he reaches for his moms arm to transfer his time she has already timed out in his arms. Will furious and devastated takes a high end taxi to the highest time zone.

           Once in the rich time zone Will still moves fast thinking his life is only minutes from death learns to enjoy life. Eating out, buying high end clothing, buying cars for 59 years and gambling. One night Will gambles against a very rich man who owns all time loans. Betting his whole life Will leaves himself minutes to see if has won or lost. Will wins and not only gets his time back but also a thousand from the man. After the game Will meets the man’s daughter Sylvia. He is then invited to their party tomorrow night.

            At the party Will goes skinny dipping with Sylvia but later Will is confronted by the Time Keeper. He wants Will dead because he thinks he stole his time. The Time Keeper takes away all his time leaving him only minutes to live. He takes Sylvia as a hostage and the two drives off. The two crash though and while they are unconscious Fortemis and his men take all their time. They both have minutes. They come to and take off; Will goes to his old friends house hoping for some time. His wife though tells Will that her husband died from all the alcohol. Will with seconds left sells Sylvia’s diamond earrings to a pawn shop. They both get two days.

           The rest of the movie includes Will and his partner in crime/girlfriend going against her father and stealing time from his banks to hand out to all poor people who are seconds away from timing out. Also the Time Keeper is always trying to track them down, unsuccessfully. Near the ending (I don’t remember the order) Will beats Fortis in a fight, taking all his time (Poor Alex Pettyfer!! :’( I love him lol) Will also steals a million years. At the end Will and Sylvia are down to minutes and the Time Keeper is chasing them on foot. The Time Keeper times out but then Will and Sylvia don’t have enough time to run for more time. Will has just enough time to run to the Time Keepers car to take some of his stored time. He tries running to give time to Sylvia like he did to his mom but this time he reaches her in time. Then at the very very end they just show the two still robbing banks in high time zones. THE END!!!!!!

Movie Review:

         This was an amazing movie. The action was awesome, the whole story line and plot were cool and different. I loved all the actors. The movie had a great cast. Justin Timberlake was amazing, he played the part really good, I love him! I normally don’t like Amanda Seyfreid, but in this movie she was really good, and she looked amazing, with her hair cut. I also loved, loved, loved Alex Pettyfer. He’s hot! <3 love him, and I actually liked him as the bad ‘old’ bad guy. He normally is the hot high school guy every girl drools over, so it was a nice change for him. Also who can resist Matt Bomer! He wasn’t a big role, but you got to love him.

            I would deffinatly recommend this movie to all of you out there. Great action flick. I love the whole time is money thing. And you do get to see the two different life styles. The slow richies that can live forever, and the young poor ones who have to run to save their precious time. It’s pretty crazy though, how that people literally would watch as their last seconds of life ticked away and they could do nothing about it. Great movie! Bravo Justin Timberlake, and Alex Pettyfer!
