The hole was dark but lit. You could see the serious faces they both held as the light shined through the cracks on the door. Then Lee sighed knowing that she had to tell her story to compromise with this stubborn girl. She leaned against the wall knowing it was going to be a long story. She sat next to Eve. The she began her story.
"It started before I was even born" Lee sighed. "My dad wanted me to inherit the hunter culture. He was at the top of the ranks too. So of course they expected a lot from me, but my mom on the other hand thought it was too dangerous. She let me do it any way. When I was born though, my dad hoped for a boy. I was a big disappointment, especially to my father. My mom noticed it too. She felt sad for me, so she decided to train me on her own. My mom had no knowledge of what hunters do, but the scrolls where good enough. Well for her at least. We spent weeks studying and training. When ever I improved, I always looked above my shoulder to see if my dad was proud of me. But he always frowned. Soon I really wanted to impress him. So I spent hours on end trying, but it never worked. One time I had to stick my hand in a bag of fire ants" Lee chuckled
  "Go on" whispered Eve
"Oh the days went by fast. Except one rainy, dark, day. I was in the kitchen at the time. Rolling dough for my aunt when all the sudden we both hear a bang! We rushed out to my parents bedroom. The door cracks open only for us to find my mothers shot body dead on the ground. So... so... so much blood. And her eyes. I didn't even get to say goodbye" a single tear ran down her face and she quickly whipped it away.
  "I'm so sorry" Eve comforted
"It's ok. That turned me into the hunter I am today. After the murder, it was my ultimate goal to find that little twerp. So I trained, and tried tracking him down. Each time failing as much as the other tries. Five years pass, and the cops stopped looking. So I went on my own. On foot to find my moms murderer and get revenge. The others said I was too weak to do anything a hunter could do. They were wrong of course. After a month had passed, I finally found the mad man. I killed him with my bare hands and took him back to the other hunters. I proved them wrong. But my dad, he still was disappointed in me. I was excepted into the hunters league, and I still tried to impress him. One day he disappeared. No one knows where, but I'm not going to look for him after all I've done to impress him. So now I've spent my life committed to killing or hunting down people" Lee finished
"Just two questions. First are you going to kill me now. Second what is a hunter?" Eve brushed back her hair
"Well I'm not going to kill you. I couldn't if I wanted to. You are still wearing the necklace" they both looked over to the necklace hanging from Eve's neck. "also a hunter is someone who hunts down specific people. Sometime we have to kill them, sometimes we just take them back to the base. Like I'm going to do with you. The only thing I can't understand is that I was sent her looking for a boy your age. Only to find you possessing it. Why would it be here?"
"I asked my self the same question too, but I really don't know" Eve tugged at her necklace
"I have to take you now. It's too dangerous to be out and about wearing that here. Follow me" she almost was half way out the door before someone grabbed her ankle.
"You haven't told me who you really are, or what you want with my necklace" Eve pulled her ankle so Lee flopped back down
"Ok if that will make you come with me" Lee huffed "My real name is Bailee Woods. I'm fourteen. I come from base 1127 here to find Matt Crude. The guy stole the necklace five months ago from a tomb that belonged to a huntress. They said the necklace contains ultimate power that should only be used for good"
"Well here take it" Eve tried to I clip it off
"No wait" Bailee stopped her too late. The necklace sent shocks of electricity through Eve's body
"I knew you made a promise. That is very dangerous if you break it. That's why both of us must go together" Bailee took Eve's hand and helped her out the hole
"So what kind of power" Eve wondered
"Well as long as you wear it, you're unstoppable. You rarely get hurt. Your injuries heal faster. All your senses get five times better. You get super strength. And to top it all off you fight way more rapidly" Bailee looked back at Eve, "but that's only the good part"
"Good part?" Eve catches up to her "what's the bad part"
"Well you could break the promise and unleash who knows what into our world" Bailee answered
She pulled out a small bag covered in flowers. She unzipped the bag carefully then plopped it on the ground.
"If it's that bad I guess I'll follow you" Eve looked down at the bag "but why is there a bag in front of me"
"It's are only way in" Bailee smirked. She stepped forward. Looked into the bag. Then without hesitation stuck her foot in. Five seconds later, she was fully engulfed by the bag.
"Wait" Eve yelled but it was too late. Well here goes nothing. Swish. In a matter of seconds she was falling down a deep black hole. It felt like an endless black hole taking an eternality to hit the bottom. Then a sudden flash of light appeared. She was thrown into the small light opening. She landed head first into a tree.
"Maybe I should have told you to stay on your feet. It doesn't matter now just follow me" Bailee walked ahead of Eve
Eve quickly ran to catch up. There was no way of turning back now. Bailee walked steadily up to a grand building. It's silver walls towered over them. Marble steps and a crystal finish was perfect. A fountain slushed water out of a hunters (she assumed) mouth. They walked up the steps to a golden door. Bailee knocked on the left door.
"Who is it" asked a rich voice
  Bailee sighed "Casper, it's me"
"How do I know it's not an attacker" he questioned
"Because attackers don't knock" Bailee huffed
We heard a sigh. Then a lock crack open. The door turned an emerald color. Bailee calmly stepped through it just like she did with the bag. Eve knew not to yell after her. She too stepped through the door. In the building was amazing.
               Somewhere in Brazil
"Did you take care of our little problem" boomed a deep voice
"Yes master" squeaked a tiny voice
"And you. Did you do as I asked" said the deep voice
"Mm the necklace got away sir" some one mumbled
  "WHAT!" the deep voice yelled
"But don't worry master. I heard the whole conversation. They are taking her to their base. She had made a promise to it sir. If she breaks it..... you know what happens"
"That little huntress better stay out of this. Plus they can't hold her in that base forever. Our plan is still moving but slowly. You were right about the promise I'll give you that much, but you better do your job next time" the deep voice came
"Master if I may, how much longer" squeaked the small voice again
"Not long my child, not long at all" he chuckled
