Ashley's P.O.V.

I woke up, stretching out. As soon as I did, I smelt bacon. I walked up to the mirror and cringed, brushing through my hair with my fingers. My phone sat on the bed, so I picked it up and placed it on the desk. I guess I'll check to see if he tried to call later. I walked down the hallway and saw Calum, sitting at the table eating bacon. Another plate sat at the other end of the table. He looked up and smiled when he saw me. I attempted to smile back, but I couldn't get Michael out of the back of my head. My stomach turned as I thought about what I'm gonna say when I get to the cabin today.

I sat down in front of the bacon, slowly eating it. I just wasn't that hungry. Calum and I sat in a somewhat comfortable silence, until he spoke up.

"So how are you feeling?"

"Like shit" I said. He chuckled lightly, giving me a sympathetic smile. "Thank you for the bacon."

"It's no problem" he replied, shrugging. "So has Michael tried to contact you?"

"I haven't checked yet" I said.

"Oh..are you going back to the cabin tonight?"

"Well yeah, I plan on it" I replied.

"Um..maybe you shouldn't."

"Why not?" I asked.

"I don't know. He would just make the whole situation more complicated."

"How so?" I asked.

"He just would. I know Michael and I know he would." Calum hesitated for a second. "I have to go to the bathroom."

So he got up and walked out of the kitchen, leaving me to eat my bacon in confusion. I finished it soon enough and cleaned the dishes. Calum came back minutes later, smiling at me.

"You didn't need to clean the dishes."

"It's the least I can do. You've been so sweet to me lately and it truly means a lot, Calum" I replied. He wrapped an arm around me which made me feel slightly uncomfortable, but I let it stay.

I don't know why I felt uncomfortable, I guess it's just the fact that we have a history and he happened to cheat on me in the past. But as I keep telling myself, we're all adults now.

"I think I'm gonna go check my phone to see if he's tried to call or anything" I said.

"Oh, okay" Calum said, looking away.

I walked to the room I slept in and went to the desk to get my phone, but it wasn't there. What? I looked around, trying to find it, but I literally couldn't find it anywhere. I could've sworn I set it on the desk.

"Cal, could you come here?" I called.

"Yeah, one sec" he yelled back. After a minute or so, he walked in.

"What's wrong?"

"I can't find my phone" I replied. He knit his eyebrows.

"Where did you set it?"

"I'm positive I set it on the desk."

Calum looked around the desk and in the drawers.

"Are you completely sure you set it on the desk?"

"Yes" I said.

"Well...I mean, I don't know what to tell you."

"I can't just not have my phone" I said.

"I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere, but lets not dwell on it. In the mean time, what do you want to do today?"

"Well I was planning on going back to the cabin, but..I guess not" I said. He nodded and grabbed my hand, smiling at me.

"Hey, it'll be okay. I know it will." I sighed.

"Yeah, hopefully."

Michael's P.O.V,

Oh my god, why the hell hasn't she answered any of my calls? I swear I've called about 11 times and I've sent her over 20 text messages. What if Calum's hurting her?

No, no, I can't think things like that. It'll make this worse.

I've got to find out where Calum lives. I know I'm going a little too extreme with this, but Calum isn't what Ashley thinks he is at all. He's feeding her all this bullshit so she'll completely trust him, and I'm almost positive all he wants is sex. I used to be like that with different girls, but ever since Ashley came...none of that mattered.

And all I know is I fucking miss her, and I need her, right now. I need her in my arms, I need her forever.

God, why is she so damn oblivious? I guess I am too, considering the fact I actually believed Calum at first. What kind of acting classes is he taking? Nobody is that good at acting.

Whatever, I need to find her. I'm not gonna sit on my ass all day feeling pathetic and waiting. I've done that too many times; I've let her walk out of my life too many times.

I'm gonna find her.
